That said, being on the first floor made access super convenient—especially helpful if you're traveling with luggage or have mobility needs. The location is unbeatable: just hop on the free shuttle boat from Central Station and you’re there within minutes. It’s a scenic ride along the canals, making the journey part of the adventure. The area around NDSM Wharf is full of cool local cafés, boutiques, and restaurants—perfect for a relaxed evening stroll. With easy access to public transport, a peaceful riverside vibe, and great amenities, this hotel offers excellent value. Definitely recommend for travelers who appreciate charm, convenience, and a unique slice of Amsterdam life.

This was hands down the best value hotel I've stayed at on my trip! Everything exceeded my expectations—affordable price, excellent location, and top-notch service. The hotel is just steps away from the 26 bus stop, which runs right past the front door, making it super easy to get around Amsterdam. If you're visiting, definitely grab a day pass—it's worth every cent. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything you'd need. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always with a smile and ready to help. On a rainy day, they even provided plenty of umbrellas—such a thoughtful touch! Breakfast was solid—not overly fancy, but fresh and high quality. I especially appreciated the Chinese-speaking staff who offered helpful tips and support throughout our stay. I'm so glad we didn't book in the city center old town area—while it has charm, it can be crowded and noisy. This location strikes the perfect balance: quiet, convenient, and close to major attractions. And don’t miss the windmill village—it’s absolutely breathtaking, straight out of a postcard. A must-visit if you’re in Amsterdam!
Tribe Amsterdam City
This was hands down the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my European trip. The place feels brand new, with spacious rooms that make you feel instantly relaxed. It’s just two tram stops from Amsterdam Central Station—get off at Nord, which is the final stop—and it’s only a 3-minute walk to the hotel. Perfectly located for a quiet escape from the busy city center while still being super accessible. Check-in was handled by MIKA, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d actually had trouble exiting the station earlier, but he quickly explained that scanning the Eurostar QR code would solve it. When I left, I was nervous—but sure enough, one scan and I was through. Huge thanks to MIKA! The breakfast was exceptional too. That coffee? The milk foam was so rich and velvety, it might be the best cup I’ve had anywhere in Europe. I even tried making waffles myself—fun and delicious! The room’s tea and coffee station was well stocked with capsules, tea bags, and everything else you’d need, and they were always refilled promptly. If I ever return to Amsterdam, this hotel would be my top pick without hesitation.

The minibar is restocked daily and completely free—such a nice touch! Everything about this stay exceeded expectations. A friend recommended this charming B&B, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Located in a classic canal house, the owner and his family live on the upper floors, while I stayed in a ground-floor room with a lovely canal view—quiet, intimate, and full of character. I was able to check in right upon arrival in the late morning, and the host kindly stored one of my suitcases during my short pre-cruise stay in Amsterdam—perfect for those traveling light. The room was cozy and well-appointed: a comfortable bed, a fully stocked bathroom, a small table with two chairs, and thoughtful extras like coffee, cream, and other daily comforts. Each morning, the host personally delivered breakfast to my room—fresh fruit, delicious croissants, rolls, a boiled egg, jams, butter, honey, and muesli. It was a delightful start to the day. I didn’t use the TV, so I can’t comment on that feature. The location couldn’t be better—steps from restaurants, shops, and all the major sights in central Amsterdam. Walking distance to everything makes exploring effortless. The host is also happy to offer personalized recommendations if you’re unsure where to go. One small tip: if visiting in summer, close the room-darkening curtains during the day, as the west-facing sunlight can heat up the room quickly. Overall, an exceptional stay with genuine hospitality and a wonderful home-away-from-home feel.

We only stayed one night here due to a nearby event, and honestly, it was such a shame we couldn’t extend our visit—this hotel completely surpassed our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel right at home. The apartment itself was fantastic: cozy yet spacious, beautifully decorated with great taste, and the air conditioning ran silently—no noise at all. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. It had all the essentials: a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, stovetop, refrigerator, a lovely seating area, flat-screen TV, comfortable bed, and a bathroom that looked like it came out of a magazine. We could easily see ourselves staying much longer. Even though it’s outside the busy city center, it’s just steps from a tram stop, close to a parking garage, and surrounded by a peaceful park. Perfect for both short visits and extended stays. If we’re ever back in Amsterdam, this will be our first choice—next time, definitely for more than one night!
