Staying at Miyako Hotel Hakata was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short walk from Hakata Station, making it super convenient for exploring the city, grabbing food, or hopping on the train. The room size is reasonable, and although I didn’t use the in-room shower (thanks to the spacious rooftop bath), the layout feels open and well-designed. The only minor downside is that lower-floor rooms are close to the street, so you might catch some traffic noise or distant ads—but honestly, it’s not loud enough to disrupt sleep. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. A solid 10/10 from me, and I’ll definitely be back.

The only minor downside was that there wasn’t much room to fully open our luggage, which made unpacking slightly tricky—but that’s a small trade-off for everything else. Location-wise, this hotel is unbeatable. The subway station is literally right outside the door, making it super easy to get around town, whether heading to Tenjin or exploring other parts of Fukuoka. With its great comfort, convenient access, and excellent value, I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to Fukuoka.

The twin room has spacious beds—one slightly larger than the other—but neither feels cramped at all. We had plenty of room to move around and slept comfortably throughout our stay. Great value for money and an excellent location. Definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Fukuoka.

However, I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get to enjoy even one ice cream during our two-night stay—such a small treat, but still missed! Also, the parking fee was a surprise compared to what I’m used to back home in Taiwan. While I understand it’s standard in Japan, it would be nice if there were occasional free parking hours or better value options for longer stays. Despite those minor drawbacks, the hotel’s excellent location, clean rooms, and thoughtful amenities make it a top choice for travelers visiting Fukuoka.

Location-wise, the famous Ichiran Ramen headquarters is just steps away, though it’s always packed—arrive early if you want to try it. The hotel sits near Nakasu Street, but surprisingly quiet despite being in the heart of the city. It’s just a 15-minute walk to Tenjin and the bustling underground shopping area—extremely convenient for exploring the city. While the rooms don’t have views (surrounded by buildings), the comfort, cleanliness, and service more than make up for it. This place offers great value and a peaceful retreat in a vibrant neighborhood. I’d definitely stay here again.
