I recently stayed at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel by IHG, located in the iconic Beetham Tower, and had an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the revolving doors into this sleek glass skyscraper, I was greeted with a modern, elegant atmosphere that set the tone for the entire visit.
The location couldn’t be better—right on Deansgate, just steps away from Manchester’s top attractions. I was within walking distance of the Arndale shopping centre, the Spinningfields business district, and the vibrant nightlife of the Northern Quarter. Public transport access is excellent, with Deansgate station literally right outside the hotel—perfect for exploring the city or heading to nearby venues.
Upon arrival, the lobby made a strong impression: high ceilings, clean lines, and a sophisticated yet welcoming design. Check-in was smooth and efficient, handled by friendly staff who were attentive without being intrusive—even with a busy lobby, they made me feel valued and welcome.
My room was on a higher floor, offering panoramic views of the Manchester skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows—truly breathtaking, especially at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with crisp linens and plush pillows that made waking up a real pleasure. The room itself was well-equipped with all the essentials you’d expect from a premium property: a large flat-screen TV, iron and ironing board, mini-fridge, safe, and a spacious desk with excellent lighting—ideal for work or late-night reading. The bathroom was spotless, modern, and stocked with quality toiletries, though the shower water pressure could have been stronger.
What really stood out were the facilities. The health club and spa are a major highlight—spacious pool, fully equipped gym, and relaxing sauna and steam room. I used the sauna after a long day of sightseeing and it was exactly what I needed to unwind. The Executive Lounge offered a peaceful retreat with a great selection of refreshments and light bites—perfect for unwinding or catching up on work in a calm setting.
Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value, comfort, and service. It’s a top-tier choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for a stylish, central base in Manchester.
