I stayed four nights at this vibrant hostel with a warm, friendly vibe and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is a real plus—quiet neighborhood, away from downtown bustle, yet just a one-minute walk to the Donlands subway stop, making it super easy to get around Toronto. The staff are incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with local tips or recommendations—they really know their way around the area and can point you toward hidden gems if you’re looking for something specific. Dorm rooms are clean and well-maintained, and bedding (sheets and blankets) is provided—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The only minor downside? No curtains or blinds, so light might be an issue if you’re sensitive to early morning sun. Shower facilities are limited in number but spotless and spacious enough to store your toiletries comfortably. Breakfast is simple but satisfying: coffee, tea, milk, fresh fruit, cereals, bread, and jams—everything you need to start the day right. The shared kitchen is fully equipped, with plenty of fridge space available to store groceries, which made self-catering super convenient. Overall, this place offers everything you’d want for a relaxed, affordable stay in Toronto. If you're visiting the city on a budget and want a cozy, social atmosphere, I highly recommend giving The Only Backpacker's Inn a try—it’s a gem!

Staying at this Residence & Conference Centre in downtown Toronto was a fantastic experience overall. While there isn’t direct public transit nearby, getting around via Uber was super convenient and saved us time. The room layout is surprisingly spacious—originally converted from student housing, each suite includes two small bedrooms, a cozy living area, and a private bathroom. It’s perfect for families or groups traveling together. Inside the unit, you’ll find a microwave, fridge, sink, a small table, and two chairs—ideal for preparing meals or working remotely. One of the highlights? The laundry facilities on the second floor: plenty of washers and dryers available. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful—they provided free detergent and even let us borrow laundry cards that we could top up ourselves. I accidentally left a set of clothes behind, but the platform made it easy to call the hotel directly and resolve the issue quickly. Great value, excellent service, and a central location. Definitely coming back.
