Staying at Hôtel la Pérouse was a delightful surprise! The ambiance is truly elegant and peaceful, and the actual property looks even better than the official photos—seriously, the pictures don’t do it justice. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with an impressive variety of fresh options, and the homemade pastries were exceptional—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. One minor downside was the attitude of one of the breakfast servers—a very thin staff member who seemed distant and lacked warmth, which stood out slightly in an otherwise excellent experience. We also left a jacket behind, but given the high shipping cost, we decided not to go through with retrieving it. That said, it would be helpful if the hotel had a more accessible lost-and-found process. Overall, this place offers incredible value, beautiful surroundings, and a memorable stay. I’d definitely return.

Even though I arrived late at midnight, the location felt safe and accessible—just a 15-minute walk to the old town and beach, which is much closer than I expected. Yes, there were a few people sleeping near the parking lot, but it didn’t affect my stay at all. The room was clean, spacious, and surprisingly comfortable for the price—yes, some fixtures looked a bit dated, but everything worked well and the overall condition was excellent. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially during breakfast when they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast spread was generous and tasty. Public transport access is easy too—just a short ride to the city center. Overall, this place offers great value, comfort, and convenience. A solid choice if you’re looking for a relaxed base in Nice without breaking the bank.

The property is perfectly located—just a short walk from the city center and literally steps away from the port, making it super convenient for exploring Nice. The apartment itself is cozy and well-equipped, though it would be nice to have a proper coffee maker in the kitchen. That said, the attention to detail and warm welcome from Clémence and her dad made all the difference. Their hospitality truly added a personal touch to the experience. This is definitely an address worth remembering—highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort, location, and genuine charm.

But what truly stood out was the rooftop terrace. Open, spacious, and offering stunning views, it’s the ideal spot to unwind with a drink in hand. We arrived earlier than check-in time, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly—they even upgraded us to a higher-category room at no extra cost! One highlight was the parking arrangement: we paid a small daily fee for a covered, secure underground spot, which made life so much easier—no more stressing about finding a place to park in the narrow streets of Nice. Plus, there’s a shared kitchen available for guests to cook meals, with a cozy dining area right next to reception. There’s also a free coffee machine offering espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and milk—available anytime without extra charges. It’s such a thoughtful touch! Everything about our stay was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel for travelers who value convenience, comfort, and a home-like atmosphere.
