Best of all, the location is unbeatable: just steps away from major attractions, great restaurants, and shopping areas. We explored the city easily on foot or by metro, making it simple to enjoy everything Madrid has to offer. This place truly delivers on comfort, style, and convenience—definitely a top choice for any traveler looking for a memorable stay.
ITC Infantas by Soho Boutique
Stayed at this hotel in July and August 2025, and it was a fantastic experience overall. One of the highlights was being able to store our luggage between our two separate stays—super convenient after the first visit. We actually came here back in 2023 during the same time of year, and the great location instantly reminded us why we loved it so much. Situated right near Gran Vía in the heart of La Chueca, everything is within walking distance—shopping, dining, nightlife, and public transit are all super accessible. The staff were warm and helpful throughout. Special shoutout to Nahuel and Daniela for their attentive service. Luisa, who handled breakfast, really stood out—her care and professionalism made the morning meal feel special. The room (404) was spacious, comfortable, and featured a private balcony with a lovely view of the street. Perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet coffee in the morning. High-quality furnishings, excellent amenities, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. This place offers incredible value and definitely deserves a return visit.
Soho Boutique Opera
Located right in the heart of Madrid, this hotel offers a perfect blend of modern style and charming atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was generous and well-balanced, with plenty of options to choose from. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night's sleep—and the large smart TV in the room added a nice touch for relaxation. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The place was spotlessly clean, and the overall experience was outstanding. One minor note: there were a few small marks and scuffs on the walls, which slightly affected the visual appeal, but it didn’t take away from the great value and comfort. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Madrid—great location, excellent service, and a lovely vibe.
Ilunion Pio XII
The Ilunion Pio XII hotel offers a clean, well-maintained environment and a solid breakfast selection—both are definitely highlights. That said, the location is quite far from the city center and main attractions. If you're only staying for one or two nights, it might be better to choose a place closer to the action. The good news? Bus line 150 stops right outside the hotel and goes directly to Puerta del Sol with no transfers, making public transit a convenient option. Just keep in mind that taxis in Madrid are extremely expensive—my ride from the hotel to the city center cost over €30, which isn’t ideal for short stays. Overall, this hotel works better for longer visits when you’re looking to save on transport costs and don’t mind a bit of distance. For travelers prioritizing convenience and budget, especially those planning to explore on foot or by bus, this place offers great value.

I spent just one night at Dormirdcine and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Located just steps from the metro, the hotel sits in a lively neighborhood packed with cozy cafés, boutiques, and local gems. Breakfast offered a great variety of fresh, tasty options—perfect for starting the day right. It’s rare to find such a stylish, well-run place with such a welcoming vibe. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

Whether you're exploring Madrid’s museums, shopping on Gran Vía, or just soaking in the atmosphere, this hotel offers the perfect base. Highly recommend for travelers who want comfort, convenience, and great quality without breaking the bank.
The Level at Melia Castilla
Staying at The Level at Melia Castilla in Madrid was an absolute delight. The pool area is beautifully designed and offers a peaceful retreat—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Located just steps from the metro, getting around Madrid was incredibly convenient. The only minor downside was a slight hum from the air conditioning unit, but it wasn’t disruptive enough to ruin the experience. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value and comfort—definitely a top choice for future visits.

Hotel Catalonia Gran Via Madrid
This recently renovated hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay with a great location. Despite having 7 floors and somewhat old-fashioned elevators, they work perfectly fine and don’t hinder the experience at all. The real highlight is the unbeatable location—situated right between two metro stations (Gran Via and Sevilla), with a bus stop just outside the door. It’s only a 3-minute walk to Primark, and you can reach Plaza Mayor, along with the famous Bear and Strawberry Tree monument, in under 15 minutes on foot. Perfect for exploring Madrid’s city center without needing a car. Great value, excellent convenience, and a top choice for travelers who want both comfort and accessibility.
