The only minor downside was breakfast, which was included but consisted only of a coffee machine with pods—nothing fancy. That said, we were pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful little café just 20 meters away. It had excellent coffee, a cozy atmosphere, and great pastries—so we ended up enjoying our morning coffee there instead. Overall, the value for money was outstanding, and the location made everything so easy. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Milan.

There’s even a decent-sized supermarket just steps away, which came in handy after days of eating out—grabbing some chicken legs and ribs to grill at home made for a nice change of pace. I also had to do a bit of waste sorting during my stay, which was a small learning curve for someone used to not doing it regularly, but it felt good to be eco-conscious. The sofa bed is a real win—easily converts into a comfortable extra bed, allowing my kids and me to sleep separately without any disruption. Overall, this place is ideal for families, offering comfort, convenience, and a true local vibe. Highly recommend! Italianway - Piazza Lima 1
We were supposed to receive the door code via email upon check-in, but it never arrived. When I tried to contact Italianway staff, I could barely hear them due to the loud noise in the office. They insisted it had been sent and that we should have it already. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth, they finally resent it. All this happened while we were standing outside in 34°C heat, waiting with our two heavy suitcases. To make matters worse, we had to carry everything up three flights of stairs to a flat without air conditioning—something that wasn’t mentioned anywhere before booking. As someone who’s lived in Italy for over 20 years (my wife is Italian), I know what to expect when traveling here, but this was still an exhausting experience, especially for us in our mid-seventies. That said, the apartment was clean and located in a very convenient spot—our only positive takeaway.
IH Hotels Milano Centrale
