The hotel is small with only a limited number of rooms, but its location is excellent—right in the heart of District 1, directly across from Saigon Peninsula. For just a quarter of the price of that luxury property, it’s an incredible value. I really loved the modern yet authentic decor, and the facilities are well-maintained and functional. One little tip: the hot water only comes when you turn the faucet halfway—had a funny moment at a local hair salon where the water wasn’t hot, making me think all the water in Ho Chi Minh City was lukewarm! Also, on the 27th, we were caught off guard by a major 50th-anniversary military exercise that blocked off the entire District 1 area early in the morning—nearly missed our flight, but thankfully the restrictions lifted by noon. If you're visiting during national holidays, be sure to check traffic updates in advance. Despite that hiccup, this stay was still fantastic overall.

That said, I did experience a sudden fever during my visit. Unfortunately, there wasn’t an emergency first-aid kit available in the room, and nearby pharmacies were out of stock when I checked. I was a bit stressed until I found a local pharmacy just a five-minute walk away via Google Maps—luckily, they had cooling packs and basic medicine. Overall, the location is excellent: well-connected, easy to explore, and ideal as a base for sightseeing. With its charm, cleanliness, and great service, this place is a fantastic choice for travelers looking for comfort and authenticity.
