Plus, there’s a mangrove tour just a short walk away—super convenient and highly recommended. What really blew me away? Breakfast included sparkling wine (or maybe a light sparkling grape juice?)—such a nice surprise! We came as a family of four, stayed in a spacious family room that felt more like a little villa—huge and comfortable. It would work perfectly for couples, solo travelers, or even groups. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, tasty, and satisfying. The only thing to note is that it’s not located right in the heart of the tourist areas like Pantai Cenang or Pantai Tengah, so there’s no direct beach access. But honestly, that’s part of the charm—the quiet, private setting away from crowds makes it feel like a true retreat. For those seeking peace, privacy, and a relaxed getaway, this is a perfect choice. Highly recommended for a serene escape.

Travel safety is top priority, and this hotel truly delivers beyond expectations. My husband booked the Cross Keys Resort in Langkawi—hands down one of the safest places in all of Malaysia. Located right next to the airport, it connects seamlessly to the international convention center. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes to the Sky Bridge, and only 10 minutes to the ferry terminal for Rawa Island in Thailand. After two days exploring, we returned for one more night before heading home—every major landmark and protected site was easily accessible. The security system is outstanding, with the highest number of surveillance cameras on the island, making you feel completely secure. Inside the room, the soundproof glass is excellent—just like a luxury mountain resort—only the gentle sound of the pool waterfall breaks the silence. The suite is spacious, the bed brand new and firm, perfect for us. For our island tour, they provided a private boat—we even rented the whole thing, which added extra peace of mind. Plus, the double-country travel package launching December 1st will allow visa-free access—this was an incredible opportunity, and we were lucky enough to catch it. Overall, an unforgettable, stress-free experience. Highly recommended!
