Staying at Yi Hotel Beijing Sanlitun Taikoo Li Tiedong Lake Subway Station was a fantastic experience overall. Location-wise, it’s super convenient—there are pharmacies, restaurants, and supermarkets within walking distance, and the subway station is just a short stroll away, making it easy to explore the city. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and patient—they even upgraded us to a windowed room without hesitation! Housekeeping was also warm and attentive. The hotel is part of a wellness center with four floors: the first floor is dedicated to bathing facilities, the second houses guest rooms and massage services, the third features dining options and a movie theater, while the fourth floor offers steam rooms and relaxation areas—very convenient and well-organized. While room soundproofing isn’t perfect, the low occupancy meant there was minimal noise at night, so sleep wasn’t disturbed. What really stood out were the complimentary perks: unlimited fresh fruit (think cherries, jackfruit, pineapple, starfruit), free Maltese ice cream, and access to the spa area—all included with no extra cost. The bathhouse itself is top-notch with no noticeable flaws. Special mention goes to the front desk manager in a white shirt—an energetic guy from Northeast China—who remembers returning guests by name and greets everyone warmly upon arrival. That personal touch made a big difference. Overall, the service, comfort, and value make this a standout choice if you're looking for a relaxing urban retreat.
