Staying at Roomers Munich, Autograph Collection was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between modern design and warm hospitality—clean, stylish, and thoughtfully curated. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a highlight: abundant, fresh, and packed with local flavors that made mornings truly enjoyable. Even better, the evening Japanese dining experience was excellent—authentic, well-prepared, and satisfying. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable. Right outside the door are bus lines 18 and 19, making it super easy to explore downtown Munich or nearby attractions without hassle. Public transit access is seamless, and we didn’t need a car at all. For travelers who value convenience, comfort, and a touch of elegance, this hotel is a top-tier choice. I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Munich.

Staying at Munich Marriott Hotel City West was a fantastic experience overall. The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent amenities that made the stay very enjoyable. The breakfast spread was impressive—plenty of variety and high quality, perfect for starting the day right. The only minor downside is the hotel's distance from the nearest subway station, about a 10-12 minute walk. However, there are always taxis available right outside the entrance, making transportation to the city center convenient. With great service, a well-located position near major attractions, and a welcoming atmosphere, this hotel offers outstanding value. I’d definitely book here again.

Location-wise, it’s just steps away from a U-Bahn station, and within one stop you’re at the main train station, which made exploring Munich super convenient. I especially loved that there’s a local bakery right across the street—German bread is legendary, and I was blown away by how delicious and aromatic their pastries were. Definitely worth stopping by. Staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. The breakfast spread was fantastic too—fresh, varied, and tasty. Overall, this hotel offered great value and a welcoming atmosphere. The exterior view and surrounding area are charming, making it a perfect base for discovering the city.

I took my 15-year-old brother on a trip to Munich, and as someone who’d stayed at Meininger’s London hostel before, I had high expectations. We booked three nights here, and honestly, it lived up to the hype. The price is great for what you get—friendly, bilingual staff, a relaxed vibe, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear this place takes pride in its service. One thing I didn’t notice on the website was the extra paperwork required for minors staying with non-parents, which caught me off guard. Still, the team handled it with kindness and flexibility—they let us complete the forms at check-in and even sent the documents to our parents directly. While the process felt a bit more strict than expected, I understand the need for safety measures, especially when it comes to younger travelers. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and I’m happy to give it a full 5 stars. If all Meininger locations maintain this standard—especially considering Munich is one of their oldest properties—I’d say they’re a safe, reliable choice for any budget-conscious traveler.

That said, if your booking doesn’t include breakfast, be sure to bring some snacks or plan ahead. There aren’t many dining options nearby, especially on weekends when many places are closed. Without a little preparation, you might find yourself hungry. Overall, though, this is a great value for money choice in central Munich—perfect for travelers who prioritize location, comfort, and a quiet, welcoming vibe.
