This hotel is a hidden gem! Even though it’s about a 15-minute walk to the main bus station, the location is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. The neighborhood is lush with trees, very calm, and far from tourist crowds—ideal if you want to escape the hustle. The room was spacious, quiet, and well-designed, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious options. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, always ready to help with recommendations or logistics. It felt like staying at a home away from home. I truly can’t recommend this place enough—perfect for travelers who value comfort, cleanliness, and genuine service.

Stayed for three nights in Munich and loved the convenient walkability to the Altstadt and surrounding attractions. We came here specifically to visit Klaus Voormann, a renowned artist and musician, and the hotel made our trip even more memorable. Also, the lack of a mini-fridge was a bit inconvenient; I couldn’t store any snacks or drinks on-site, which meant having to go out for small treats. Still, the overall value is strong, staff were friendly and helpful, and the central location makes it ideal for exploring Munich. I’d definitely consider staying here again on future visits.

What really stood out was the on-site parking—direct access right below the hotel made arriving by car stress-free. No need to circle around looking for spots or pay extra fees elsewhere. This is a great choice for families or groups visiting Munich who want comfort, convenience, and value—all in one.
Hotel Lux
If you're looking for a charming, comfortable stay right in the heart of old town Munich, Hotel Lux is absolutely the spot. Everything worth seeing is within easy walking distance—shops, cafes, historic sites, and the iconic Marienplatz are all just steps away. When you need to travel further, the U-bahn and S-bahn lines are conveniently located just around the corner. Yes, there's some evening ambiance from the bar downstairs, but it’s never overwhelming—definitely not enough to disrupt a good night’s sleep. In fact, we loved starting our mornings with a gourmet breakfast at the bar; the quality and presentation were exceptional. The hosts go above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with local tips or arrangements. It’s clear they care about their guests’ experience. We’ve stayed at many hotels across Europe, but this one stands out. If we ever return to Munich, Hotel Lux will be our first choice without hesitation.

Hotel Daniel is a great choice for travelers looking for a central location in Munich. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. I didn’t book breakfast, but there are plenty of excellent dining options just steps away from the hotel—perfect for grabbing a quick bite. The only downside was the nearby nightclub that stayed open late on weekends. Even with earplugs, we could still hear the music until around 4 a.m., which was disruptive if you're sensitive to noise. Our room was on the second floor, and while it was clean and comfortable, the sound from the club carried through the walls. If you’re planning to stay during weekend nights or need a quiet environment, this might not be the ideal spot. That said, for a solid value-for-money experience in a vibrant city center, Hotel Daniel is definitely worth considering.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights with our family and couldn’t have been happier. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from all the city’s top attractions, plus there are great restaurants, supermarkets, and even the local market right nearby. Our family room was spacious and recently renovated—perfect for three people. Despite being in the heart of the city, we could sleep peacefully with the windows open because the area is surprisingly quiet and not at all chaotic. Breakfast was solid, with plenty of sweet options that even our dessert-loving family members enjoyed. Overall, an excellent stay with great value—definitely planning to return.
