Staying here for three nights was a great experience overall. The hotel's location is unbeatable—right next to Berlin Ostbahnhof station, making it super easy to get around the city via public transit with no transfers needed. I loved how close it was to local restaurants and shopping spots—perfect for grabbing a quick bite or exploring on foot. The room was clean, modern, and well-designed with a comfortable bed that made for a restful sleep. Noise insulation was better than expected, so I wasn’t disturbed at night. Staff were friendly and welcoming from check-in onward. With its convenient access, smart design, and excellent value, I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Berlin.

We stayed at the Meininger Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz for a full week, and it was an excellent experience overall. Upon arrival, the staff who speak Italian were incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants—there are so many options nearby, we barely had to go far for good food. The room offered a fantastic view of the Alexanderplatz Tower, making every morning a little more enjoyable. The only downside was the construction work right across from the hotel, but it didn’t affect our stay much. Rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Breakfast was generous and varied—perfect for starting the day. With its central location, easy access to public transport, and great value, this hotel is a top choice. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely loved my stay at Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz! The hotel is spotless and well-maintained, with a great vibe that makes it feel welcoming. Being right in the heart of Berlin, I could walk to all the major attractions—museums, shopping streets, restaurants—without needing public transport. It saved me both time and money on tickets. The location is unbeatable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back here on my next visit to Berlin. 100/10, highly recommend!
Easy Lodges Berlin
This stay was an absolute disaster—definitely not recommended. The entire property was in a shocking condition from the moment we arrived. The room was freezing cold despite having a heater, and every single faucet—including the shower and sink—produced icy water throughout our entire stay. We had to check out early because it was simply unbearable. The humidity inside the room was extreme, causing condensation to drip from the walls by the end of our visit. The bathroom was in terrible shape: some showers were broken, sinks were filthy with traces of saliva and toothpaste left by previous guests, and one was completely clogged so water wouldn’t drain at all. Trash was scattered around the room, and overall cleanliness was unacceptable. To make matters worse, even after checking out early, we were promised a refund by the platform—but never received it. We’ve now had to involve legal counsel to address the issue. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

This stay exceeded my expectations for a city-center hotel. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed—comfortable bed, reliable AC, and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent: fresh, hot options with a good variety, definitely worth the morning wake-up. What really stood out was the location—right inside Berlin Ostbahnhof train station, just across from the Berlin Wall memorial. Getting around the city is effortless; you can hop on the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, or buses without leaving the building. Whether heading to the airport, central Berlin, or nearby attractions, it’s all within minutes. For a hotel in this category, the value is outstanding. I’d absolutely book here again on my next visit to Berlin.

Communication with the hostel manager was smooth and efficient. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy for everyone to relax after a long day. You can really tell this is a family-run operation—the attention to detail and genuine care for guests is evident in every little thing. Plus, the location is perfect: just a short walk from the city center, with great access to public transport and all the main sights. This place is not just ideal for groups—it’s also a top choice for solo travelers who want a welcoming, authentic vibe. Highly recommended!

The host greeted us warmly and made check-in quick and hassle-free. We were treated to a complimentary cappuccino at the attached café, which instantly put us at ease—felt like coming home right away. The room’s Italian-inspired design and ambiance were truly unique, with attention to detail that made every element feel refined and spotless. Located just steps from both U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations, it's incredibly convenient for exploring the Kiez area and beyond. Breakfast was excellent at the nearby bakery—fresh, delicious, and with a 20% discount, making it even better value. The price-to-quality ratio is outstanding. We’d book this place again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin.

However, the noise from the reception area was quite disruptive—constant door slams and chatter in the mornings made it hard to relax. The soundproofing could definitely be improved; I’d strongly recommend bringing earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise. The neighborhood felt a bit off too—there were shady characters hanging around on the streets and some questionable activity near the park. While the hotel isn’t at fault for the area’s vibe, travelers should do their own research before booking. It’s a solid option for budget-conscious visitors who don’t mind a lively urban setting, but those seeking peace and quiet might want to think twice.
