The front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful, even surprising our little one with a sweet welcome gift. The grand Christmas tree in the lobby added such a magical atmosphere. Our kids loved the kids' play area so much they didn’t want to leave! We always come to Jinji Lake and have stayed at InterContinental Suzhou multiple times—truly a go-to choice. The hotel overlooks the lake, and Moonlight Pier is just across the bridge—super convenient for walking or taking the metro. This time, we brought my elderly parent who had just recovered from a fracture; mobility was limited, and even eating and moving around were challenging. From check-in onward, the staff went above and beyond. When we requested two rooms, they kindly arranged adjacent ones for easier supervision. Throughout breakfast and dinner buffet service, the team showed exceptional care. During dinner, a young, friendly server noticed our situation and proactively brought a cushion so my parent could elevate their injured arm—something that actually helped with swelling. He even explained the medical reasoning behind it! That level of thoughtfulness and knowledge stood out. Every interaction felt personal, warm, and professional. We’ve already taken photos of several team members’ name tags—we’d love to see them recognized by the hotel. Definitely coming back again!

I’ve dined at Xinchu a few times before, but this was my first time staying at Niccolo Suzhou—completely different experience! I booked the lake-view N3 room through Karina for my birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. Facing the Oriental Gate, the night views are stunning—glittering lights reflecting on the water, like something out of a movie. Karina went above and beyond with her service—she even surprised me with a birthday cake 🎂, which made the whole stay feel special. The breakfast extending until 11 AM is such a thoughtful touch, especially on weekends when you can just enjoy it as a relaxed brunch and skip lunch. The only minor downside? The room ran surprisingly hot—even at 16°C, it felt stuffy, and by afternoon it seemed close to 30°C, so maybe a slight AC adjustment would help. Also, the pool is on the smaller side. But overall, the exceptional service, incredible location, and beautiful views more than make up for it. A fantastic stay with great value!

Location-wise, it’s perfect: close to great dining options, yet far enough from traffic congestion to keep things peaceful. Inside the room, all amenities were top-notch—fridge, washing machine, microwave—all clean and well-maintained (even though I didn’t use them, I did check them out, and they looked brand new). Everything felt fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back if I visit Suzhou again.

Staying at Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou Yuanqu was an absolute delight. The location is fantastic—right next to 711, FamilyMart, and Starbucks, so grabbing a quick coffee or snack is super convenient. A short walk takes you to Xinguang Plaza and Juyou Department Store, perfect for some shopping without needing to travel far. In the evening, we headed to the Ferris wheel and were pleasantly surprised by how few people were in line—got tickets and boarded right away, enjoying stunning views of the city skyline. The hotel’s Chinese restaurant served amazing noodles with crisp vegetables, and the squirrel-shaped mandarin fish was freshly prepared—absolutely delicious. Breakfast was a highlight too, with a diverse menu including sesame dumplings, Ao Zao noodles, egg rolls, Benedict eggs, sweet pea and pomelo cheese salad, and the yellow peach milk banana pancake—each dish was flavorful and satisfying. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. From comfort to convenience, every detail was spot-on. This place truly delivers on luxury and value. I’ll definitely be back.

The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-designed with a smart one-bedroom layout—living room, bedroom, and bathroom are all separate, offering great privacy. The owner even personally delivered a bottle of Surf laundry detergent, which showed real attention to detail. Right below the building is a large park, and across the street is another green space—perfect for those who love peace and quiet. Just a 3-minute walk to Suzhou Industrial Park Railway Station, making travel super convenient whether you're heading into the city or catching a train. There are also several nearby options like McDonald's, a noodle shop, and a cozy coffee place—great for quick meals or morning caffeine. Everything I needed was within easy reach. This place offers excellent value for money, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it!
