We stayed at Filerimos Village Hotel in early July and had a very pleasant experience overall. The swimming pools and aquapark were excellent, though adding more sun loungers would have been great. Food quality was solid, and the poolside bar offered tasty snacks and ice cream. Drinks—including wine, beer, and soft drinks—were average but acceptable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There’s a car rental office on-site, offering competitive rates and excellent service. The hotel’s location is convenient: just a 10-minute bus ride from the airport and about 20 minutes to Rhodes Old Town, with the bus stop right outside. We actually enjoyed watching planes approach the airport—it wasn’t noisy at all, and it became a fun little attraction. One downside is the sewage area located near the center of the property. It’s well hidden by lush greenery, so it’s not immediately obvious, but if you’re close by, the smell can be unpleasant. Still, it only affects those in immediate proximity. Overall, Rhodes is a beautiful island—we highly recommend visiting the Old Town, Lindos, and the Filerimos mountain and monastery for a memorable trip.
