We booked a 11-night stay at Artemis Comfort&Pleasure, but only stayed one night before deciding to leave. The moment we arrived, there was no front desk staff—no one to greet us or check us in. We had to figure things out on our own. Once upstairs, the room seemed okay at first, but within hours, several serious issues emerged. The toilet flush ran for over five minutes after each use, which was both annoying and wasteful. The shower drainage system was faulty—the bubbles from the shower rose through a drain not meant for it, flooding the floor and making it slippery. There was a gap under the main door, allowing insects to enter freely, and the balcony doors only locked on one side—making us feel unsafe leaving valuables behind. The photos showed 12 sun loungers, but we found only five. The entire experience didn’t match the listing at all. After leaving, I messaged the owner asking for a 50% refund as a goodwill gesture. He declined politely, saying it was non-refundable—fine, we understood. But days later, he offered a voucher for a future stay of similar length. Honestly, I wouldn’t even gift that voucher to someone I didn’t like. The fact he offered it implies he acknowledges something went wrong. What’s more troubling is that he kept messaging us, pressuring us to write a review, claiming he could’ve fixed things if we’d spoken up earlier. But how can you fix something when you don’t even recognize it’s broken? His continued push for feedback feels manipulative, especially since he didn’t seem to grasp the safety concerns we had. We left because we felt genuinely unsafe—and we made the right decision. I would never book here again, not even for free.
