Once again, we absolutely loved our stay! This was our second visit to this charming bed & breakfast, and it didn’t disappoint. While the setting is rustic, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and truly special. Yamille and Ignácio go above and beyond with their hospitality—genuine, thoughtful, and full of local tips to enhance our experience. They made us feel like family, offering little touches and support in every way possible. The location is perfect: quiet, picturesque street just steps away from grocery stores and shops, yet still peaceful and safe. We highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a genuine, cozy retreat in Santiago.

There’s filtered drinking water available in the lobby, which is a thoughtful touch for travelers. Located right in the heart of the CBD, it’s safe and convenient, with easy access to public transport. A shopping mall is just a short walk away—ideal for grabbing snacks or last-minute essentials. Plus, it’s only about 20 minutes from the airport, making arrivals and departures stress-free. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and location. I’d definitely recommend it and will be returning.

Stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza El Bosque Santiago and was thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with a comfortable bed—perfect for a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making check-in and any inquiries a breeze. The hotel’s location is ideal—just a short walk from public transit and close to shopping areas. One downside was that the booking platform didn’t offer multilingual support, which made communication tricky at times, and some charges couldn’t be invoiced, which wasn’t ideal for business travelers. I ended up switching to another service for the remaining nights, and the experience improved significantly. Also worth noting: the Wi-Fi login page is in Spanish. If you’re not familiar with the language, it’s best to ask the front desk to help set it up during check-in. Overall, great value, excellent service, and a very convenient base for exploring Santiago.

The hotel’s facilities are well-maintained and stylish, with only a minor issue: the air conditioning didn’t heat up initially, but the team fixed it promptly—very responsive. The fan was a bit noisy, like a rattling machine, but thankfully we didn’t need to use it much. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and bright, though slightly noisy in the mornings due to traffic from the 7th floor—possibly because the window seal was missing a rubber gasket, allowing some sound in. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. Room service was outstanding—fast and attentive. The dining staff were friendly, and the buffet offered a good variety of quality food. The on-site restaurant served delicious lunch and dinner options—highly recommended. We didn’t use the indoor heated pool, but when we checked it out, it felt a bit stuffy and damp, indicating poor ventilation needs improvement. All in all, the location is convenient, the service is top-notch, and the price is very reasonable. A highly recommendable choice!

Brizen Apartments Pedro de Valdivia
My stay at Brizen Apartments Pedro de Valdivia was a major disappointment. From the moment I arrived, there were issues with check-in—apparently I had to register at the front desk, but the building is residential and security was extremely lax. The doorman wasn’t even checking IDs, letting almost anyone in. The main entrance door was broken and barely functional, which added to the unease. The elevator creaked like it was about to fall apart, and the hallway smelled strongly of garbage and something else unpleasant—really off-putting. By the time I got to my unit, I just wanted to collapse. Inside, the apartment looked okay at first glance, but the bathroom showed clear signs of poor cleaning—stains on the tiles, like it hadn’t been properly sanitized before my arrival. The balcony was littered with cigarette butts. I was exhausted and tried to sleep, but the noise from outside was unbearable: constant traffic, buses rumbling by, loud exhaust fans from nearby restaurants, and people shouting on the street well past 2 a.m. It was impossible to rest. I reached out for a refund, but received no response. Overall, this was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had—poor maintenance, weak security, and extreme noise pollution. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

This hostel truly exceeded my expectations. Located just steps away from the Argentine Embassy and within easy walking distance of the metro, getting around Santiago was incredibly convenient. I booked the smallest private room—definitely not a shared dorm—and it was surprisingly comfortable with a window, great natural light, and a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast wasn’t self-service but served as a set menu, and it was delicious and satisfying. What really stood out was the front desk staff. During my trip, I accidentally got something in my eye, and by Friday evening, the university hospital’s ophthalmology department had closed. Emergency services wouldn’t take me either. On Saturday morning, I asked if they could help me find a doctor—most websites were in Spanish, which made things tough. Without hesitation, the staff went online, called multiple clinics, and finally managed to connect me with a private eye clinic (similar to an 'Eye Hospital' in Hong Kong). They helped me get seen promptly and resolved the issue. Their kindness and dedication made a huge difference during a stressful moment. This place isn’t just about location or rooms—it’s about genuine care. Highly recommend for any traveler visiting Santiago, especially those who value helpful service and a welcoming vibe.
