When we returned, my dog had somehow torn off the bottom door panel and escaped. Panic set in—I was overwhelmed, scared, and completely lost in the unfamiliar neighborhood. I couldn’t stop crying, shouting my dog’s name through the quiet alleyway. Thankfully, neighbors heard me and came down in droves—over twenty people joined the search effort. My husband contacted the host, who immediately showed up, shared photos on the community group, and helped coordinate. Within two hours, someone reported seeing the dog at their home.
