Staying at Hotel Tiffany by Fassbind in Geneva was an absolute delight. The front desk staff were incredibly patient and helpful—answering every question with a warm, calm demeanor, which instantly put me at ease. The vintage-style elevator is a true gem: small, cozy, and safe for just one or two guests—feels like stepping into a timeless story. The room itself was beautifully decorated with a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the mattress was perfect—just right for a deep, restful sleep. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh, abundant, and varied each day. The young servers were always busy, slightly serious but clearly dedicated and professional. This hotel delivers charm, comfort, and genuine hospitality in every detail. A standout experience I’d happily return to.

The location is absolutely unbeatable—right next to Cornavin Train Station, just a short walk from the exit. The convenience, comfort, and excellent service make it stand out—highly recommended for travelers on the go.

Staying at Hotel Montana in Geneva was an absolute delight. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center and close to public transit, making exploration effortless. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from check-in onwards. High-speed Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout my stay, which was a big plus for remote work and streaming. But honestly, the best part was the bed—it’s incredibly comfortable, with just the right balance of support and softness. I slept so well I didn’t want to get up! If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located, and thoughtfully designed hotel in Geneva, this one is definitely worth considering.

From check-in to check-out, every step was smooth and genuinely welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home—attentive without being intrusive, warm without being overbearing. The location is perfect: just a short walk from the city center and surrounded by great cafes, shops, and scenic views of Lake Geneva. It’s rare to find such a high level of comfort and attention to detail in a hotel this close to everything. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Geneva.

Staying at Hotel Admiral in Geneva was an absolute highlight of my trip! The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed—especially the mini-fridge, which came in handy for storing drinks and snacks. What really stood out was the unbeatable location: just a 5-minute walk to the train station, about 10 minutes to Lake Geneva where I spent relaxing afternoons by the water, and only 15 minutes on foot to the city center. Everything I wanted to see or do was within easy reach. Plus, the free public transit pass included with the stay made exploring nearby attractions super convenient and budget-friendly. Located on a quiet pedestrian street just steps away from shops and local eateries, this apartment hotel offers a surprisingly spacious and well-designed studio unit perfect for budget-conscious travelers. The room itself is cozy, thoughtfully laid out, and very comfortable—exactly what you’d want after a long day exploring Geneva. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and always available with a smile. I arrived a bit later than expected, and the room was still being cleaned by a very courteous gentleman who took extra care to ensure everything was spotless before handing it over. His attention to detail and genuine kindness made a lasting impression. Overall, the experience was excellent—great value, convenient location, and warm hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I stayed at Hôtel Résidence Cité-Verdaine twice between January and June 2024, totaling nearly five months, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. The rooms are cleaned twice a week—trash is removed, linens and towels changed—making it feel consistently fresh and comfortable. It’s just a three-minute walk to the bus stop and tram station, and only seven minutes to Lake Geneva and the iconic Jet d’Eau fountain. Bus line #8 stops right outside, offering direct access to Nations (home of the Palais des Nations and UN headquarters) and OMS/BIT (WHO offices), with convenient stops along the way—perfect for anyone working with international organizations. The hotel sits on a main street with two supermarkets nearby, and Gare Cornavin, the city’s central train station, is a manageable 15-minute walk away. Manager Frederic is incredibly welcoming and always ready to assist with any request. There’s also a laundromat just a six- or seven-minute stroll from the property, and the old town is within easy reach. With its great location, reliable service, and peaceful atmosphere, this is one of the best places to stay in Geneva. I’d definitely book here again if I ever return.

My stay at Hotel Balzac in Geneva was extremely disappointing, mainly due to the poor service. The woman working both at the front desk and in the bar was consistently rude and arrogant toward guests. She seemed constantly angry, responded curtly to any requests, and showed no willingness to help or even offer a simple smile. Multiple other guests have also voiced complaints about her behavior—she clearly lacks basic customer service skills and professionalism. While the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Geneva, this negative experience overshadowed everything else. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the lack of staff empathy made the entire stay unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, nor would I consider returning.

The overall experience was excellent! The only downside was the first night, when I shared a room with a guest who was constantly moving around on their knees, making loud phone calls until nearly 1 a.m., and repeatedly tapping their phone keys. There were also frequent loud door slams, which made it really hard to sleep. I had to rely on earplugs just to get some rest—otherwise, I would’ve definitely requested a room change mid-stay. Thankfully, I managed to switch rooms the next day, and the second night was peaceful and quiet—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The staff were very responsive and helpful throughout. The location is great, right in the heart of Geneva, and the hostel offers fantastic value for money. If they could improve room soundproofing a bit more, this place would be absolutely perfect.
