I arrived at the hotel via bus number 10 from the airport, getting off at Bar Fenix AV España 101—just a 10-minute walk to the property. The location is fantastic: right on the first coastline with a pleasant promenade and direct access to the sea. I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff who checked me in quickly and efficiently. My room was 805, facing the street rather than the ocean, but there was zero noise from traffic—perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep. Neighbors were quiet, and even if staff spoke loudly in the hallway, it didn’t bother me. One highlight was the housekeeping lady—though she didn’t speak English, she’d still knock and enter the room even when I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign up. She’d rush into the bathroom, replace towels and toiletries without hesitation, which made me laugh—but honestly, her cleaning was spotless. Every corner was wiped down, so I couldn’t find anything to complain about. A truly kind and dedicated woman. Big thanks to the chef too—the breakfasts were excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. Just 30 meters from the hotel, there’s a staircase leading straight to the castle and the port—only a 15-20 minute walk. There’s no shortage of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, making daily life super convenient. One small note: each room has a safe, but the key must be picked up at reception and costs 18 euros for four days. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it for peace of mind. Overall, this stay was absolutely memorable—great value, lovely staff, and unbeatable location.
