We first visited Suzanne's back in 1996 and fell in love with the place—and the people—right away. Since then, it’s become our go-to retreat, and this past August we stayed for three weeks, feeling completely at home. The rooms have been beautifully renovated with brand-new beds, and every room comes with a mini-fridge—perfect for keeping drinks cool. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and all bathrooms feature modern shower cabins and hairdryers. The pool is spacious and immaculately clean—truly a highlight. Even though it’s never featured in UK hotel brochures, we’ve made it our own little sanctuary over the years. Halil, Suzanne’s husband, runs the adjacent restaurant and serves up what might be the best pide (Turkish flatbread) in the village—authentic, delicious, and so good you’ll want to lick your fingers. The staff go above and beyond, always friendly and eager to help. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the village, steps away from everything. Even with loud bars closing late at night, the double-glazed windows keep the sound out completely, so the rooms stay peaceful and quiet. Staying here feels like returning to your own home.
