BrewDog DogHouse Edinburgh

Staying at BrewDog DogHouse Edinburgh was an absolute delight from start to finish. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—every interaction felt personal and genuine. What truly sets this place apart? You can see adorable dogs roaming around the space, adding a unique, cozy vibe that’s hard to find elsewhere. The room itself was stylish and comfortable, and the beer selection was outstanding—especially their own craft brews, which were fresh, bold, and absolutely delicious. Location-wise, it’s perfect: everything you’d want to explore in Edinburgh is just a short walk away, whether it’s historic sites, local shops, or scenic spots. I even took a nostalgic stroll down my old school route, reliving memories from student days—it made the whole trip extra special. The Conifers

The location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk from the heart of Edinburgh, and the mattress is actually quite comfortable. That’s honestly about the only positive thing to say. Otherwise, this place feels like it hasn’t been updated in decades. The rooms are worn down, the bathroom looks like it’s from another era, and there’s absolutely no comfort or charm. Even worse, the owner lives on-site but never greets you—no welcome, no interaction. We waited for breakfast, but it never arrived. It felt like we were just checking in to an empty shell with no hospitality at all. If you’re looking for a bare-bones, soulless stay where nothing works as expected, this might be your spot. But for anyone seeking a decent experience, skip this one. It’s not worth the price, and definitely not worth the disappointment.

The communication was excellent from start to finish—everything was exactly as shown on the listing, which made me feel confident and relaxed. The apartment is clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for a family getaway. It’s located in a quiet area but still within easy reach of Edinburgh’s main attractions via public transport. I loved how thoughtfully it was designed with comfort and convenience in mind. If you're looking for a cozy, reliable place to stay with your family, this is absolutely a top choice. Hilton Edinburgh Carlton

Traveling with my 80+ mother was such a pleasant experience thanks to the exceptional service at Hilton Edinburgh Carlton. The hotel went above and beyond by assigning us an age-friendly room—thoughtful features like grab bars, easy-to-reach controls, and ample lighting made everything comfortable for her. But what truly stood out was the front desk staff: a kind and attentive lady who personally arranged our airport transfer. She ensured the driver arrived early the next morning, making our departure stress-free. The location is also excellent—just a short metro ride into the city center. From start to finish, the attention to detail and genuine care made this stay unforgettable. If you're traveling with elderly family members, this hotel is an absolute must-consider. Highly recommended!

Holyrood Aparthotel

The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Holyrood Palace and right on Royal Mile, making it super convenient to explore Edinburgh on foot. The city is small enough that most attractions are within walking distance, which is a big plus. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed, including full kitchenware—perfect for cooking meals and doing laundry. Right outside the door, there’s a Tesco supermarket and a Chinese convenience store, so grocery shopping is super easy. The air conditioning works really well, keeping the room cool even during warmer days. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful—they came up to the room when I had trouble using some of the equipment, which was much appreciated. As for breakfast, it’s just basic items bought from the local supermarket, so I’d suggest skipping the included breakfast and heading out to grab something fresh and affordable yourself. Overall, this place offers great value, comfort, and convenience—definitely a top choice if you’re visiting Edinburgh.

Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh

This was our second stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh, and once again, we were thoroughly impressed. We traveled with three families this time, and even invited two other households to join us—everyone had a fantastic experience. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. Even though we were on the ground floor, there was no sense of being closed in or dull—just clean, bright, and welcoming. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just an 8-minute walk to Calton Hill and about 15 minutes to the train station. In terms of value for money, it’s hard to beat—best location in its price range, and arguably the most affordable option in that area. We’ve considered trying other hotels this year, but after checking out alternatives, we kept coming back to this one. Edinburgh is simply magical, and staying here made every moment of our trip more memorable.

The Ben Doran Guest House

Staying at The Ben Doran Guest House felt like stepping into a piece of Edinburgh's history. The exterior is modest, but inside, it’s a charming Georgian townhouse with over 300 years of character—original woodwork, elegant furnishings, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing break. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, sharing fascinating stories about the building’s past. The rooms are quiet and cozy, and the breakfast was exceptional—fresh, locally sourced, and beautifully presented. What really stood out was the location: right outside the front door is a bus stop with frequent service to the city center, making exploring easy and stress-free. This isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s an experience. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel

Staying at the Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere—spacious rooms, clean lines, and thoughtful touches everywhere. From complimentary tea and cookies to a little duck figurine on the bed (so cute!), it’s clear they care about guest experience. The location is perfect—most major attractions are just a short walk away, and being right in the heart of the city made exploring effortless. I was there during Halloween, and the streets were buzzing with festive energy—such a fun time to visit! Plus, the side entrance leading straight to the elevator made checking in with heavy luggage a breeze. No need to lug bags through crowded lobbies. Everything about this hotel felt well-planned and genuinely welcoming. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of charm in Edinburgh, this place delivers every single time.

The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton

Staying at The Caledonian Edinburgh was an absolute highlight of our trip. Located right at the intersection of Princes Street and Lothian Street, it sits perfectly between Old Town and New Town—just a short walk from the iconic Edinburgh Castle, with views of the fortress from the front door. The hotel itself is a historic building with rich heritage, once visited by legends like Arthur Conan Doyle, which made it extra special for us as devoted Sherlock Holmes fans. The breakfast was a classic English spread, but what stood out most was the waffle served with honey straight from a whole, fresh honeycomb—such a unique and memorable touch. There’s also a beautiful garden restaurant in the atrium, though we were pressed for time and didn’t get to experience it. Still, the atmosphere alone adds so much charm. From the location to the details, every element felt thoughtfully curated. A truly exceptional stay that exceeded expectations.

Old Town Chambers, Autograph Collection

Staying at Old Town Chambers was an absolute delight. Right in the heart of Royal Mile, the hotel offers unbeatable location—your window faces the church, and you’re just a short walk from everything. From the train station, avoid the stairs; take the longer route up—it’s worth it. It takes about 8 minutes to reach the property, but the journey is pleasant. The apartment itself is well-equipped with a full kitchen and a washing machine, perfect for preparing light meals or doing laundry. The bedding was incredibly comfortable—great sleep quality throughout. The only minor downside? The shower pressure could be stronger, but considering it’s a historic building, that’s understandable. Overall, this is a fantastic choice if you want a stylish, central stay with charm and convenience. Highly recommended!

The Knight Residence by Mansley

住咗曼斯利騎士服務式公寓,真係好驚喜!位置唔錯,搭地鐵去市中心幾方便,附近食肆都多。酒店本身係由一幢舊建築改裝而成,保留咗好多歷史感,但內部設計又現代又舒服,空間感十足。我入住時間比較晚,酒店仲特意留人等我,辦理手續快而順,完全冇等。房間設備齊全到幾乎唔使自備任何東西,連煮水用嘅電爐、咖啡機都有,免費咖啡仲好飲,好開心!整體體驗近乎完美,性價比高,絕對會再嚟。「},{
