This place exceeded all my expectations! The apartment has been recently renovated and feels truly modern and fresh. Everything you need in the kitchen is here—refrigerator, stove, washing machine, electric kettle, coffee maker—all brand new and in perfect condition. The bathroom is spotless, and both bedrooms are comfortably furnished with high-quality mattresses and pillows. The only thing to note is that you’ll need to bring your own sheets and towels, but honestly, that’s a minor detail. What really makes this stay unforgettable is the location and the view—right on the waterfront with breathtaking ocean vistas. Waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunrise from the balcony was pure magic. I can’t wait to come back. This is an absolute gem for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped getaway with unbeatable value.
City Hotel Mar del Plata
We had an amazing time at City Hotel Mar del Plata! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center and easily accessible by public transit. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made our stay very enjoyable. We were especially happy to bring our dog along—the staff warmly welcomed him and even looked after him while we went out for dinner, which was such a relief. What really stood out was the cooperative work atmosphere; the team felt genuinely welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear they care about guests and each other. We’re already planning to come back and highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers looking for a warm, authentic experience in Mar del Plata.

I was actually hesitant to book this hotel based on some of the reviews I read online, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance — my three-day stay turned out to be fantastic. The cleanliness was outstanding, the staff were friendly and attentive, the linens and towels felt luxurious, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. Location-wise, it's perfect — just a short walk to the beach and downtown area. The only small improvements would be upgrading the fan in room 104 and adding recycling bins in common areas by 2025 for better sustainability. Overall, an excellent experience with great value — I'd definitely come back.

The location is perfect—just a short walk from the beach and downtown attractions, making it easy to explore everything Mar del Plata has to offer. We were impressed by how welcoming and professional everyone was throughout our stay. We’re already planning to return in 2024 if everything goes well—this hotel is a gem and definitely worth recommending!

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Cavour! The location is perfect—right in the heart of Mar del Plata, just a short walk to the beach and all the local attractions. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly, respectful service—always attentive and genuinely concerned about making sure my experience was excellent. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I truly can’t recommend this hotel enough. I’ll definitely be back soon—thank you to everyone for such a wonderful stay!
Abra Marina Hotel
I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. The humidity is extremely high, and the mattresses are so thin they feel like paper. During showers, water actually spills into the room—there's no proper waterproofing. The windows facing the street don't even have grilles, which raises serious safety and privacy concerns. The photos online show a decent room, but the actual space looks nothing like it. The room I stayed in was far below expectations. The price-to-quality ratio is terrible—completely not worth it.

Dining here during sunset with views of the sea made the meal even more memorable. Overall, Gran Hotel Opera offers a reliable, enjoyable stay that fits perfectly within its price range. Definitely a place I’d return to on future trips to Mar del Plata.
Hotel Nueva Italia
The hotel is about 20 blocks from the beach, which is a bit far, but it's located in a lively area with constant activity around. We parked our car outside every night without any issues—security has really improved since the local authorities relocated the previous transient groups. The owners are absolutely outstanding—11 out of 10 for service! Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, and the room cleanliness was top-notch. What stood out most was their genuine love for animals—there were stray cats and dogs around, and they clearly care for them. It’s rare to find such warmth and kindness in hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mar del Plata.
Hotel San José Mdq
This stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. The entire room was soaked with moisture—walls, floors, even the bathroom was dripping. We weren’t given a single towel for bathing, and the sheets were old, stained, and clearly never washed. On the first night, there was no hot water at all—just freezing cold showers. The rooms weren’t cleaned during our stay, and we found ants crawling around in the bedroom, which was absolutely horrifying. The toilet was loose and wobbly, and the tiny two-by-two bathroom flooded every time we turned on the tap. The staff’s service was subpar—rude, indifferent, and completely unhelpful. This place felt more like a nightmare than a hotel. I’ve stayed in many places worldwide, but nothing comes close to this level of neglect. Do not stay here—avoid it at all costs.

This hotel is absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and close to all the local attractions. The owners and staff are incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to meet every need. The room was completely renovated with a brand-new bed and modern bathroom—so comfortable and spotless. Cleanliness is outstanding; you can tell they take pride in their standards. I’ve stayed at many hotels before, but this one truly stands out. I’d return without hesitation and would even give it more stars if possible—it absolutely deserves it!
Garden Hotel
The location is fantastic for travelers without their own transportation. It's just steps away from the heart of Mar del Plata, and the garden facing the street is a real highlight—a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city center. While the room bathrooms and Wi-Fi could use some improvement—especially when many guests are online—the overall experience remains strong. Just like in 2019, my stay in January 2022 was still very satisfying, with great value for money and a welcoming atmosphere.
