Crescent Park Hotel offers a surprisingly comfortable stay in a quiet yet conveniently located business district of Chennai. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the hotel’s central position makes it ideal for both business travelers and tourists exploring the city. I was initially assigned room 204 upon late-night check-in—definitely avoid this one. It felt worn out and outdated. The next morning, I was moved to room 209, which woke me up to natural sunlight and fresh air—a huge improvement! The staff truly make the difference here. Prem and Shyam, the room attendants, are genuinely kind and always ready to help with any issue. Santosh at front desk was professional and welcoming. Breakfast was just average—not much to get excited about—but the surrounding area has excellent dining options, so that’s a major plus. Don’t worry about language barriers—even if you don’t speak Tamil, the housekeeping team speaks Hindi, and front desk staff are fluent in both Hindi and English. TV channels are plentiful, though I’d love to see Star Sports 1 in English next time instead of Tamil, as I don’t understand the language. Overall, it’s a solid value-for-money experience. The hospitality and attentiveness of the team really elevate the stay.

Upon arrival, all AC rooms were fully booked, so I was offered a non-AC room temporarily with the promise of a room change later. When I tried to cancel my booking, they asked me to wait for two hours before they could arrange an AC room—this delay was a bit frustrating. I had booked a room with free breakfast, but unfortunately, it wasn’t served at all. The location is solid—easy access to local attractions and public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. If you're planning to stay here, I’d recommend contacting the property at least twice before your trip to confirm what’s included in your booking, especially regarding amenities like breakfast. Overall, the hotel isn’t bad—it's reasonably priced and well-located—but there’s definitely room for improvement in service reliability and communication.
