Every time I visit Cape Town, I make sure to stay at The Westin Cape Town—it’s always a fantastic experience. The hotel is incredibly convenient, just a short walk or quick metro ride away from Woodstock, making it easy to explore the vibrant local scene. The staff are warm and attentive, the rooms are spotless and beautifully designed, and the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. It’s rare to find such a high-quality stay with excellent value—this place truly delivers. I’ll definitely be back.

The Cellars-Hohenort is an absolute gem in Cape Town. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out—attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel is incredibly quiet, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation after exploring the city. Located just steps from several excellent wine farms, it’s ideal for wine lovers who want to enjoy tastings without traveling far. The nearby botanical gardens are a peaceful escape with lush greenery and serene walking paths. Everything about this place feels luxurious yet effortlessly calm. It’s not just a stay—it’s an experience. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town looking for charm, comfort, and a touch of elegance.

This hotel feels like a true oasis in the heart of Cape Town. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with real charm—spotting turtles wandering around added such a unique touch. The pool area is spacious and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. What truly stood out was the staff’s genuine care and attention. Especially grateful to the manager, Wilmo, who personally remembered our breakfast preferences—my husband doesn’t like eggs cooked the usual way, and Wilmo made sure they were prepared just right. That kind of thoughtful service makes all the difference. You can tell everyone here genuinely wants you to have a great stay. It’s not just about comfort—it’s about feeling welcomed and valued. Easy access to the city by public transit, excellent value, and unforgettable hospitality. Definitely coming back.

Staying at Gorgeous George by Design Hotels™ in Cape Town was an absolute highlight of my trip. This boutique hotel blends urban charm with a creative industrial aesthetic—each room feels like a stylish loft, full of character and comfort. The staff went above and beyond with warm, genuine hospitality, making me feel instantly welcome. Dining here is a treat—the culinary offerings are inventive and beautifully presented, turning every meal into a memorable experience. But the real showstopper? The rooftop bar. Unwind with one of their expertly crafted cocktails as the city lights sparkle below. It’s the perfect spot to end the night. From location to service, design to vibe, everything about this hotel shines. A true gem in Cape Town—highly recommended.

Staying at Fernwood Manor Boutique Guest House was an absolute delight. Nestled in Cape Town, the property offers a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience—just a short metro ride from the city center. The English-style manor is immaculately clean and beautifully maintained, with charming details throughout. My room was cozy, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable, especially the plush bed that made for a restful night's sleep. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality and even helped arrange local tours. It’s rare to find such a peaceful retreat with such high standards and genuine care. I highly recommend this gem—definitely coming back!

I can't recommend Villa Zest Boutique Hotel highly enough after my multiple stays here. Nestled in Cape Town, this charming little gem has just 10 rooms—exactly the right size to ensure a deeply personal and intimate experience. Every staff member knows you by name, and that attention to detail makes all the difference. The breakfast is exceptional: flaky croissants that melt in your mouth, and a la carte dishes prepared with care and delicious results. Special shout-out to Faye—her warmth and attentiveness truly elevate the guest experience. The rooms are spacious, bright, and beautifully modern, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness is top-notch—every corner of the room and bathroom sparkles. Evenings bring a thoughtful turn-down service, and each time you return to bed, there’s a little surprise waiting on your pillow—such a sweet touch. Access to the property is secured by a simple doorbell system, which adds a real sense of safety. And then there’s Curtley—the gentle, quiet, yet incredibly welcoming host who greets you with genuine kindness and always seems to anticipate your needs. He embodies what great hospitality should be. Then there’s Natale, whose heartfelt, always-available support stands out—whether it’s checking in on how you’re feeling, offering local tips, or simply expressing excitement about your next visit. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay—it feels like coming home. With such personalized service, outstanding breakfast, and unbeatable value, Villa Zest sets a new standard. I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at Cape Heritage Hotel felt like stepping into a timeless retreat. The historic charm of the building has been beautifully preserved, and every detail in our spacious, comfortable room was thoughtfully curated—especially the deep slipper bath and separate shower. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. We opted for breakfast each morning, and it was a delightful experience with fresh, local flavors served in a serene setting. From check-in to checkout, the entire stay felt personal and welcoming—more like being at home than staying in a hotel. A truly memorable place, and I’d return in a heartbeat.

Staying at Cape Finest Guest House in the heart of Waterkant was an unforgettable experience. Located just steps from Signal Hill, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Cape Town—perfect for walking or hopping on the train. The property consists of several cozy cottages tucked just a few streets back, with secure parking available. Breakfast is included and can be enjoyed at a nearby restaurant for 250 ZAR per person, though additional meals are at your own expense. While the bedroom window is quite small, the rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding hills—worth every bit of the 5-star rating. I’d highly recommend staying here for 3 to 5 nights to truly soak in the vibe. A hidden gem with great value and charm.

Staying at The Onyx Apartment Hotel by Newmark was a fantastic experience! The location is unbeatable—just across the street from the convention center, making it super convenient for business travelers. Getting around town is easy too, whether you're taking a taxi or using public transit. Right downstairs is a cozy Japanese restaurant, and next door is a Burger King—perfect for quick meals without leaving the building. The apartment itself is spacious and well-designed, offering great value for money. Staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The only downside is the breakfast, which is served as a half-self-service buffet—limited options and not particularly tasty. But overall, this hotel delivers excellent comfort, convenience, and quality. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience, especially with its prime location within a secure gated compound right next to the V&A Waterfront. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with all essentials for a comfortable short stay. The convenience of being steps away from shops, restaurants, and scenic waterfront views made it ideal for exploring Cape Town. The only minor drawback was some noise from seagulls on the island directly in front of the balcony—especially during early morning hours—but it didn’t significantly impact the overall enjoyment. For a peaceful getaway with excellent access to attractions and top-notch amenities, this property is a great choice.

Staying at De Waterkant Apartments was a fantastic experience. The apartment itself is spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Its location is unbeatable: just steps away from the city center, with easy access to public transport and all major attractions. The neighborhood is charming, safe, and full of character. That said, we did encounter a minor scam right outside our unit, so I’d recommend staying alert, especially in busy areas. Despite that small hiccup, the overall experience was outstanding. The value for money is excellent, and I’d definitely book again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cape Town.

Staying at Flatrock Suites was a major disappointment. The hotel is located directly above a nightclub, and the loud music and constant laughter kept going until 6 a.m., making it nearly impossible to sleep. I booked a two-bedroom suite, but only one room had air conditioning— the other had no fan at all, which made it extremely uncomfortable in the heat. To make matters worse, the DSTV service didn’t work, and despite reaching out to the property management team, I received zero support or assistance. There were also no curtains or blinds on the main bedroom door, so sunlight flooded into the room by 5 a.m., disrupting any chance of rest. Overall, the experience was poor, with multiple basic amenities failing and no effort from staff to resolve issues. Definitely not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
