Transparent Marais
We recently stayed at Transparent Marais for six nights and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The apartment is perfectly located—just a 10-minute walk from Hôtel de Ville, with plenty of bus options making it easy to explore all parts of Paris. The unit was spotless, well-equipped, and featured a spacious, comfortable bedroom with an amazing sleeper sofa that easily ranked as the best we’ve ever slept on. The bathroom was stylish and functional, with excellent shower pressure. Nestled in a quiet courtyard, the place offers peace and privacy without sacrificing convenience. We traveled with a young child using a wheelchair, and the only step was at the entrance to the courtyard—everything else inside the apartment and bathroom was completely level, making it ideal for guests with mobility challenges. Marc, the host, was incredibly responsive and easy to reach whenever we needed help. His hospitality made a big difference. We highly recommend this apartment and would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

The on-site manager was friendly and always ready to help, adding a personal touch to the experience. Everything was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. I’d absolutely book again without hesitation. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm.
Residence Central Marais
The apartment was extremely disappointing and far from clean. I found bed sheets left behind by previous guests stored in the closet, trash overflowing in the bathroom bin, glass shards hidden under the carpet, and even socks tucked behind the radiator—these weren’t minor issues, they were major hygiene concerns. To make matters worse, the TV didn’t work for the entire stay, and no one ever explained how to turn it on or connect it. The host also asked me to leave positive reviews across all platforms, which I’ve screenshot as proof—this kind of request feels inappropriate and manipulative. I filed a complaint with the platform, but their response was slow and unhelpful, citing that my claim was submitted over 24 hours after check-in. Given the poor cleanliness, lack of support, and unsatisfactory communication, this experience fell far short of expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone and will not be returning. The value for money is absolutely not worth it.
