The most convenient route is taking Line 10 Metro to Wujiaochang Station, then walking about 10 minutes to the main gate. This route avoids traffic congestion and offers a reliable, efficient journey—ideal for tourists arriving from Shanghai Railway Station or Pudong Airport.
Alternatively, buses like No. 139 and No. 55 stop near the campus, though they may be affected by peak-hour traffic. For those driving, limited parking is available nearby, but we strongly recommend using the metro to save time and avoid urban gridlock. The subway not only speeds up travel but also lets you experience local life firsthand while enjoying smooth connectivity across Shanghai.
Visitors should explore the Fudan University History Museum, which showcases the institution’s century-long legacy. Stroll through the Guanghua Square, where modern architecture meets classical landscaping, creating a striking visual contrast.

My stay at Pullman Shanghai Jing An was an absolute delight—a true urban luxury escape that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, every detail reflected thoughtfulness and high standards. Located in the heart of Jing’an District, it’s just a 5-minute walk to Shanghai Railway Station, with Metro Lines 1, 3, and 4 right outside. Whether heading to The Bund, Jing’an Temple shopping area, or Hongqiao Hub, everything is incredibly convenient. What impressed me most? Despite being so centrally located, the rooms were remarkably quiet—thanks to excellent double-glazed windows that kept city noise completely out. I stayed in the Executive Deluxe Room, which perfectly balanced modern design with comfort. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views—chaotic traffic by day, dazzling city lights by night. The mattress, customized by Simmons, paired with premium linens, delivered one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in years. The spacious bathroom featured a powerful tropical rain shower and luxurious Australian bath amenities with a refreshing natural scent. Practical touches like an air purifier and multiple charging ports made life easier for today’s traveler. Breakfast was outstanding—freshly made local-style noodle soup, flaky French croissants, and a generous seafood station. The coffee quality alone could rival any specialty café. In the evening, the Executive Lounge experience was unforgettable: a great selection of drinks and beautifully crafted small bites that showcased real culinary skill. The staff stood out with their professionalism and genuine warmth. Front desk quickly recognized my membership and efficiently handled check-in while offering helpful insights about hotel facilities. Housekeeping responded instantly—night turndown included not only a tidy room but also a thoughtful weather forecast card. The concierge gave accurate, practical advice on dining and transit options and even helped book a table at a popular local restaurant—truly going the extra mile. Facilities are top-notch: the 24-hour fitness center is well-maintained, the indoor pool is clean and inviting (especially when quiet), and the business center offers a peaceful, productive environment. On checkout day, due to a late flight, they kindly extended my check-out time until afternoon and offered luggage storage—something few hotels do without hesitation. Pullman Shanghai Jing An isn’t just a place to stay—it feels like a second home in Shanghai. It combines global brand excellence with a deep understanding of local guest needs. For business travelers who value efficiency or tourists seeking authentic urban experiences, this is truly one of the best choices in the city. I’m already planning my next visit—and I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

I recently stayed at Waiting Century Hotel (Shanghai Jing'an Railway Station) for a business trip, and the experience was excellent. The room had great soundproofing—no noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway—and there were no unpleasant odors. Every corner was spotlessly clean, which made me feel very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond; especially front desk agent Xiao Shi, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. She even offered hot coffee and water—small touches that made a big difference. On-site, there’s a 24-hour self-service laundry room with detergent pods, perfect for longer stays. The fitness center is well-equipped and inviting, making it easy to stay active during my trip. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value, comfort, and service. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to colleagues.

I was a bit disappointed when I arrived, as the room size shown online (via the platform) suggested around 30 sqm, but it felt more like 20 sqm in reality—definitely smaller than expected. The photos didn’t match the actual space at all. However, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Lü Runcao—he immediately offered me a different room, which made a big difference in my stay. The hotel’s location is excellent, just steps from Exit 5 of Shanghai Railway Station, making it super convenient for getting around the city. Breakfast was solid too—fresh, well-served, and satisfying. Despite the room size issue, the great service and prime location really made up for it.

The stay exceeded all my expectations! Check-in was quick and seamless—no long lines or delays. The room was even more spacious than I imagined, with a sleek, elegant design that felt both modern and inviting. What truly stood out was the bed—perfectly balanced in firmness, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. I slept through the night without waking up once. The bathroom had strong water pressure, and the amenities were high quality, making the experience feel luxurious. Staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, always smiling and offering help when needed—small touches that made a big difference. Yes, the price isn’t cheap, but every bit of it was justified by the comfort, service, and overall quality. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium yet thoughtful urban retreat.

Staying at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Hotel (Shanghai Train Station) was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room was immaculate—spotless and so clean you could almost see your reflection on the floor. The bedding was soft and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long day of travel. I slept like a baby thanks to the excellent soundproofing; even with nearby footsteps, the room stayed blissfully quiet. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, perfect for staying connected, and the hot water never ran out—great for a relaxing shower. Check-in and check-out were quick and friendly, with staff who genuinely cared about guest comfort. Best of all, the hotel is literally steps from the metro entrance, making it super convenient to explore Shanghai. With its unbeatable location, top-tier cleanliness, and great value, this place easily earns my highest recommendation. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Shanghai.

Staying at Starr Hotel Shanghai Jing'an Railway Station in a family room was an absolute delight! The space was spacious and kid-friendly, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What stood out most was the location—just a 10-minute walk to Shanghai Railway Station, making travel super convenient. Whether heading into the city or exploring nearby attractions, getting around was effortless. The breakfast spread was generous, offering plenty of options. If you're craving authentic Shanghai breakfast treats like xiaolongbao or shengjian mantou, you can easily grab them nearby without needing to order breakfast through the hotel. Clean, welcoming, and highly recommended—this is definitely a top choice for families visiting Shanghai.

Staying at Park Inn by Radisson Shanghai Downtown was a pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a bathtub, which made for a relaxing soak after a long day. While the furniture looked a bit dated, cleanliness was spotless and everything functioned well. Breakfast was a highlight—great variety with both Western and Chinese options available, and portions were generous. The only minor downside was not receiving any complimentary drinks or fruits upon check-in, but that didn’t take away from the overall satisfaction. For the price, this hotel offers solid value and convenience, and I’d definitely consider it again on future trips to Shanghai.

Staying at this Homeinn Selected Hotel near Shanghai Train Station was a great experience. The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the station, with easy access to Line 1 of the metro. I upgraded to a 1.8-meter wide bed, which made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The view from the window was slightly blocked compared to my previous booking, but it didn’t affect my stay much. The hotel is spotlessly clean—daily housekeeping staff were thorough and attentive, always refilling mini bottles of water. I really appreciated that. Front desk service was friendly and thoughtful; when I mentioned needing disposable toiletries upon check-in, they followed up two days later to confirm if I still needed them—such a nice touch! There’s also a free coffee machine in the lobby, perfect for a morning pick-me-up. The complimentary self-service laundry is another big plus—very convenient for longer stays. On the bright side, right across the street is a small breakfast shop offering local-style options starting at just ¥2.5 (note: the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, so online info might be misleading). I stayed at a similar Homeinn property in Hangzhou last month, and the service quality was just as strong. It’s amazing how far the brand has come compared to what it used to be over a decade ago. Really impressed—thank you for the excellent hospitality!

Stepping out of Shanghai Railway Station, I walked straight to Yitel Collection (Shanghai Train Station) — it was just a short stroll, perfect for travelers with luggage. Upon check-in, my Business King Room was upgraded to a Deluxe King Room at no extra cost — what a lucky break! The room was spotless, with tasteful decor and a nice sense of quality. Being on the street-facing side, I could easily open the window for fresh air, which was great during the day. Right downstairs is a FamilyMart convenience store — ideal for grabbing water, snacks, or last-minute essentials. With multiple metro and bus stops nearby, getting around the city was super convenient. Staff were friendly and attentive, with daily housekeeping done thoroughly. The breakfast voucher allowed me to enjoy a meal at the on-site café, CoolWise. The place had a clean, modern vibe, excellent service, and delicious food — even if I paid a bit extra for items beyond the voucher value, it was totally worth it. Overall, this stay exceeded expectations. Great location, top-notch cleanliness, and fantastic value. A solid five-star experience from start to finish.

I booked this hotel mainly because it's close to Fēi Shēng Livehouse, and I'm so glad I did! The entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely helpful—always with a smile and ready to assist. The room was immaculately clean and well-maintained, down to the smallest detail. Everything felt fresh and hygienic, which made me feel completely at ease. Plus, the location is perfect—just a short walk from the livehouse and super convenient for getting around Shanghai via metro. It’s not just about proximity; the value for money is outstanding, and the overall vibe is welcoming and modern. If you're visiting Shanghai for gigs or just want a comfortable, clean, and well-located stay, this is definitely a top choice. I’ll be back!

Staying at Ji Hotel (Shanghai Huochezhan Nanguangchang) exceeded all my expectations. The location is unbeatable—right across from the south plaza of Shanghai Railway Station, making transfers and local travel incredibly convenient. The room itself was a perfect blend of minimalist design and comfort: warm wood tones created a cozy atmosphere, and the bed offered just the right balance of softness and support for a truly restful night’s sleep. The bathroom features a clean, efficient wet-dry separation, with spotless fixtures and high-quality amenities. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in, even offering thoughtful recommendations for nearby restaurants. The public areas are quiet and well-maintained, with a calming library-like ambiance in the lobby that instantly puts you at ease. Whether you're here for business or just passing through, this hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and a touch of serenity. Highly recommend it to any traveler visiting Shanghai.

I'm back again — this is my second stay at VX Hotel (Shanghai Railway Station Store), and I’m happy to say the experience was just as good as before. Shanghai hotels tend to be on the pricier side compared to other cities, but this one stands out for its great location near the train station — it’s only a few minutes by metro, making travel super convenient. The best part? Every room has a window, so there’s no stuffy feeling at all. Fresh air and natural light make a huge difference in comfort. Even though it’s not right in the heart of downtown, the value for money is excellent. If you’re visiting Shanghai and want a clean, comfortable, and practical stay without overspending, this hotel is definitely worth considering. I’ll be coming back again!
