My stay at Kindness Hotel - Houyi Jiuru in Kaohsiung was a really positive experience overall. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient—check-in went smoothly without any waiting time. Common areas were well-maintained too; there was no unpleasant smell in the hallways, and the whole space felt thoughtfully kept. Breakfast wasn’t overly large in variety, but the food tasted fresh and well-prepared, and staff refilled items quickly. Everything you’d expect was available. Location-wise, it’s super convenient—lots of dining options nearby and easy access to public transport, so getting around didn’t feel stressful at all. The only minor downside was the room soundproofing—some noise from adjacent rooms could be heard if someone was talking loudly or moving around, but it wasn’t disruptive enough to affect rest.
