The selection of breads is incredibly diverse and each one is fresh, perfectly baked, and delicious—especially the croissants and French baguettes, which were simply irresistible. For those craving something sweet, you can upgrade to a crepe for just €22, and it’s absolutely worth every euro. The crepes are made with care—light, fluffy, and topped with fresh fruit and rich cream—deliciously satisfying. Location-wise, it’s wonderfully convenient, just a short metro ride from the heart of Milan. A truly memorable stay, and I’d definitely return.

Italianway - Piazza Lima 1
We were supposed to receive the door code via email upon check-in, but it never arrived. When I tried to contact Italianway staff, I could barely hear them due to the loud noise in the office. They insisted it had been sent and that we should have it already. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth, they finally resent it. All this happened while we were standing outside in 34°C heat, waiting with our two heavy suitcases. To make matters worse, we had to carry everything up three flights of stairs to a flat without air conditioning—something that wasn’t mentioned anywhere before booking. As someone who’s lived in Italy for over 20 years (my wife is Italian), I know what to expect when traveling here, but this was still an exhausting experience, especially for us in our mid-seventies. That said, the apartment was clean and located in a very convenient spot—our only positive takeaway.
