Staying at The Barcelona Edition was an absolute highlight of my trip to Barcelona. Located just steps away from Sagrada Família and within walking distance of the charming Gothic Quarter’s historic cafés and boutiques, the location is unbeatable. The area feels safe and vibrant, making it perfect for exploring on foot. The room itself was spacious with a stunning view—true to Edition’s signature style. The bedding was luxurious, as expected, and the bathroom featured a large tub, though the water level seemed inconsistent when filling. High-quality coffee maker and sound system were included, plus daily complimentary pastries added a lovely touch. Breakfast was served à la carte with excellent quality and presentation—fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. The staff went above and beyond; when I mentioned confusion about the room type, they promptly upgraded me to a suite with a bathtub without hesitation. A small downside: the gym is quite compact, windowless, and not available 24/7—could be improved. Despite that, the overall experience was exceptional. If you're visiting Barcelona, this hotel delivers a premium urban stay with style, comfort, and thoughtful service—highly recommended.

Staying at Monument Hotel for the second time was just as fantastic as the first. The location is unbeatable—everything is within walking distance, and public transit makes getting around effortless. We booked a suite for three, and it was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room to relax. The minibar was well-stocked, and all non-alcoholic drinks were complimentary—such a nice touch! The staff went above and beyond; they even brought a birthday cake and warm wishes when we arrived on our special day. Breakfast was outstanding—plenty of variety and delicious options that kept us full through midday. Most items are ordered à la carte, and if you're not confident in English, don’t worry—the menu comes in Chinese too. It’s truly a highlight. The only minor downside? The soundproofing isn’t perfect—our ground-floor room picked up quite a bit of noise from the elevator, especially at night. Still, this didn’t take away from the overall experience. For convenience, comfort, and great value, I’d definitely come back.

I even had the option to book a tour on my way back, which made things so convenient. If any of my friends are planning a trip to Barcelona, I’d absolutely recommend this hotel—and I’d probably try to convince them to stay longer!
