The hotel itself blends historic architecture with modern comfort beautifully. From the stylish lobby to the well-appointed rooms, every detail feels thoughtfully designed. I slept like a baby—quiet, cozy, and peaceful. The staff were warm and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. Staying at Casa Corazon de Plata Suites was an absolute delight. Nestled on a hillside just outside Guanajuato’s city center, this charming boutique-style property offers breathtaking views and a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets below. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and feel very welcoming—like home away from home. One of the highlights is the rooftop terrace with panoramic views, where they serve a delicious homemade breakfast at no extra cost—fresh, hearty, and full of local flavor. While there’s no elevator and you’ll need to climb several flights of stairs (including a beautiful spiral staircase to reach the roof), it’s totally manageable for anyone without mobility issues. The pool is stunningly designed and perfect for relaxing under the sun, even if the water is a bit chilly. Though there aren’t any shops or restaurants nearby, getting around is easy thanks to reliable ride-hailing services like Uber and taxis. The real win? Easy parking—something that’s often a headache in Guanajuato. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service, making us feel truly valued. If you’re looking for tranquility, great views, and authentic hospitality, this place is a must-visit.

This hotel has easily been the best stay I've ever had—no exaggeration. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the main attractions and local restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with modern touches. High-speed Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout my stay—perfect for working remotely or streaming my favorite shows. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly, attentive service; they even helped me plan a day trip to nearby sights. The only minor note? The shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but honestly, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. With such great value, unbeatable location, and top-tier hospitality, I’d book here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Guanajuato.

Staying at Hotel Camino Antiguo was an absolute delight. The two-bedroom apartment is beautifully decorated with authentic local charm, and being on the upper floor offers breathtaking views of Guanajuato’s vibrant cityscape. The shared kitchen is convenient for self-catering, and breakfast can be arranged upon request—perfect for a relaxed start to the day. The hosts are warm, respectful, and always attentive without being intrusive. Their kindness truly reflects the spirit of this amazing city. Every detail made our stay memorable, and I’d happily return in a heartbeat.

Staying at Casona Alonso 10 was an absolute delight. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Guanajuato, just steps away from Teatro Juárez, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city on foot. The interior design is stunning—elegant, authentic, and full of character. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to assist with everything from taxi bookings to spa recommendations. I especially loved the on-site restaurant—the breakfast buffet was delicious, and their bakery selection was a highlight; try the fresh bread, it’s simply amazing. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. I’d absolutely return without hesitation.

The hotel is excellent overall, with outstanding staff service that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. That said, there's some noise at night—mainly from dogs in the neighborhood—which can be disruptive if you're sensitive to sound. The pool hours are also a bit short, closing at 8 PM, which feels limiting given it's a tourist destination. Most travelers would love to unwind by the pool after a long day of exploring, so extending the hours would be a great improvement. Still, everything else about the stay was top-notch: clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a great location. Despite minor drawbacks, this place offers fantastic value and is definitely worth considering for your next trip.

Villa Sueño Azul feels like a peaceful retreat right in the heart of Guanajuato’s bustling city life. The room is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Our host Omar was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay, offering great local tips and making us feel at home. The location is ideal—just a short walk to Jardín de San Diego, with plenty of cafes, shops, and sights nearby. It’s rare to find such a charming, well-located B&B with such genuine hospitality. I’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely return on my next visit to Guanajuato.

We stayed at Hotel Boutique Ponciano in Guanajuato with my family to ring in the New Year. The location was excellent—just steps away from the event venue, which made it convenient for us. However, our experience turned out to be far from satisfactory. Right from the start, we struggled with basic amenities: the shower water was icy cold, and flow was barely noticeable—especially during winter, when you really need warmth. In another room, the sink wouldn’t drain properly, so water would just sit there after brushing teeth or washing hands—an unpleasant sight. The rooms had no heating system, and the small heater provided at reception did almost nothing to warm up the space. To make matters worse, the hotel has no parking facilities and offered no alternative solutions. For the first two nights, we had to pay $25 per hour at a nearby private lot—costing us a fortune. Later, we noticed a free public street parking spot right outside the hotel. We parked there and confirmed with local traffic authorities that tourists are allowed to use such spaces. Despite this, the hotel owner called us late one evening demanding we move the car immediately, claiming his presence required the spot. When we explained it was public parking and confirmed by officials, he dismissed us, threatening to remove our plates if we didn’t comply. We were frightened—not wanting to risk conflict with someone who likely had local connections—so we moved the car. Later, we returned with a traffic officer present, who confirmed the parking was perfectly legal. Still, we felt pressured into compliance due to intimidation tactics. Beyond the poor service, the owner’s behavior toward staff was extremely disrespectful—he shouted at an employee in front of guests, clearly frustrated over something we’d already been told wasn’t an issue. This lack of professionalism, combined with the subpar facilities, unreliable infrastructure, and overall disregard for guest comfort, makes me regret every moment spent here. I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Located just steps away from local shops and amazing budget-friendly eateries, it’s perfect for travelers who want to explore the city without breaking the bank. The property is quiet, spotlessly clean, and the staff couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful. I was impressed by how well-maintained the rooms were—comfortable, modern, and very spacious. Everything about the stay was top-notch, from the ambiance to the attention to detail. If you're visiting Guanajuato, this is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back.

My stay at Hotel Socavon was overall very pleasant! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything was in great condition, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The only downside was that the hotel was undergoing renovations during our visit, which caused some noise and limited access to certain areas. However, it didn’t ruin the experience. In fact, knowing the place will be even better once the upgrades are finished made the temporary inconvenience worth it. I’d definitely come back when the renovation is complete. Location is excellent—easy to walk around town or catch public transit to nearby attractions. A great choice for travelers looking for a cozy, well-located stay in Guanajuato.

Located right in the heart of Guanajuato, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience—everything you need is within walking distance. The rooms are modest in size, but clean and well-maintained, which is a big plus. However, the mattresses are quite firm, so if you prefer softer bedding, you might find it tough to get a good night’s sleep. Parking is also very limited, so be aware that larger vehicles or vans won’t fit. Still, for travelers who plan to explore on foot and appreciate a central location, this place delivers great value. It’s a solid choice if you’re prioritizing location and cleanliness over space and soft beds.

Staying at Hotel Murillo Plaza was an absolute delight. The location is perfect—just steps away from the heart of Guanajuato, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, creating a clean, comfortable atmosphere from the moment we walked in. I never met the housekeeping staff personally, but their work speaks volumes—everything was immaculate, which tells me they’re doing a fantastic job behind the scenes. It’s clear this team takes pride in keeping the hotel shining. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and centrally located stay in Guanajuato, this place is a must-book. Highly recommend it!
