Just be mindful during rush hours when it gets busier; otherwise, shuttles run every 15 minutes, making it reliable and efficient. Overall, the hotel delivers exceptional value and comfort. A top-tier stay in a prime location—highly recommend for anyone visiting Osaka.

The room itself is huge by Japanese standards, with a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine—so much convenience for a long stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making every interaction feel personal and welcoming. The moment we opened the door, we were faced with a steep staircase—very intimidating for young kids, who were visibly scared and hesitant to climb. Once inside the room, we noticed the floor was noticeably slanted, which raised concerns about the building’s structural stability and earthquake resistance. The worst part? The air conditioner was directly above the bed, blasting cold air non-stop. I ended up with a sore throat and even developed a fever from the extreme chill. It wasn’t just cool—it felt freezing. While the location is great (a quick walk to Umeda Station), the room design needs serious improvement, especially the AC placement. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations despite the convenient spot. Not worth it if you’re traveling with children or sensitive to cold.

Right outside the station is a long street packed with shops and food stalls—kind of like an open-air market, very lively and fun to explore. Within 500 meters, you’ll find one of Osaka’s most beautiful rivers, perfect for a relaxing walk. And if you keep going another 4 kilometers, you’ll reach Osaka Castle—great for a scenic stroll with plenty of stops along the way. The staff were a highlight too—there was a young Chinese-speaking guy at the front desk who’s lived in Japan for 15 years. He was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. Breakfast was simple but satisfying—basic and budget-friendly, ideal for travelers looking for something quick and no-frills. Overall, this place offers excellent value, convenience, and comfort in a prime location. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Osaka on a budget or seeking a hassle-free stay.

That said, the location is a bit tricky to find—it’s tucked away in a small building with an unobtrusive entrance, so you might need to do a little exploring to locate it. Still, once you’re inside, it feels like a hidden gem. I was happy to get a complimentary drink upon arrival—a nice touch! The champagne in-room is paid, but that’s expected. One downside: the on-site omakase dinner was disappointing—way too bland and not worth the price. I’d skip it if I were you. Overall, though, everything else hit the mark—the ambiance, design, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. It’s definitely a place I’d stay again, especially for travelers who appreciate character and charm over cookie-cutter hotels.
