Rosewood Beijing
Celebrating New Year's Day at Rosewood Beijing was the perfect way to start the year. With chilly weather outside, staying put in this luxurious hotel felt like a dream. I’ve always admired Rosewood’s design aesthetic, and this stay didn’t disappoint—the executive suite might not be huge, but the view from the windows is absolutely unbeatable. Even the little touches, like my initials embroidered on the pillowcase, made the experience feel personal and special. The executive lounge exceeded expectations—both the food quality and service were outstanding, easily among the best I’ve experienced in China. And then there’s the pool: even in winter, it feels like stepping into a serene greenhouse garden. Calm, elegant, and breathtakingly beautiful—hands down, one of the most stunning pools in Beijing. A true gem.
BEI Zhaolong Hotel, JdV by Hyatt
I only had one day in Beijing and needed a hotel with great transit access, so I chose BEI Zhaolong Hotel, JdV by Hyatt. Right outside the door are the Line 3 and Line 10 metro stations, and transferring to the Capital Airport Express is super convenient. It’s also just a short walk to Pop Mart Park, and surrounded by Sanlitun Taikoo Li—perfect for dining and shopping. Overall, the value for money is excellent. The room has a clean, minimalist design with a spacious king bed that made for a comfortable sleep. The only minor downsides were the small toilet (a bit tight for taller guests) and the showerhead, which felt a bit weak—would be great if they upgraded to a larger flow model next time. All in all, this is an ideal choice for travelers who don’t care about luxury finishes or being right on top of tourist hotspots, but really prioritize easy access to public transport.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Located right across from Chaoyang Hospital, with Hujialou Metro Station just steps away—getting around the city is super convenient. The room was spotless and beautifully lit, with fresh linens that smelled like they’d been air-dried in the sun. Natural light floods through the windows, making the space feel bright and welcoming. The host was incredibly thoughtful—sent a detailed check-in guide in advance and even upgraded us to a better room without any extra charge. They also shared great local recommendations for nearby attractions. It’s clear how much care goes into every detail. For the price, the value is unbeatable. I couldn’t be happier with this stay and will definitely book again on my next trip to Beijing.

Choosing this hotel in Beijing was absolutely the right decision. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The staff are professional and courteous, and the lobby and dining areas exude elegance and charm. What stood out most was the value—great quality at a surprisingly affordable price. Located just steps from Line 10, which is a loop line, getting around the city is incredibly convenient. I originally booked for three days, but after experiencing how comfortable and well-located the hotel was, I extended my stay by five additional days—staying until the very end of my trip. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of comfort, service, and location. If you're visiting Beijing, this hotel should be at the top of your list.

For under $25, this place is absolutely worth it. Right next to Guomao Subway Station—super convenient for getting to Universal Studios or the airport without transfers. There are tons of dining options right downstairs, so you never have to go far for a meal. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—always smiling and ready to assist. I stayed in a tatami room, and the bed was spacious and firm, which I actually preferred. It’s not too soft, so I slept really well. Just one small suggestion: adding disposable cups for brushing teeth would be a nice touch. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Just a 100-meter walk from Exit A of Jiulongshan Metro Station—super convenient for getting around Beijing. The hotel is perfectly located if you're planning to explore areas like China World Trade or Sanlitun. I loved that the shared bathrooms were well-designed with proper dry-wet separation and always kept clean. The laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) are a huge plus, especially for longer stays. Rooms are spotless, tidy, and surprisingly comfortable despite the compact size. Great value for money, very welcoming vibe, and highly recommend this place for travelers looking for a no-fuss, reliable stay.
JI Hotel (Beijing Dajiaoting Subway Station)
