We booked a room with one double bed and three single beds, but were assigned a unit with two double beds and one single bed. Although no room change was offered, the staff went above and beyond by adding an extra single bed the following day—truly impressive! The entire stay was fantastic. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and the lake view from our window was absolutely stunning. It felt peaceful and relaxing, like a little retreat in the middle of Beijing. Even though the hotel looks like just a two-star property from the outside, the service truly exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary upgrade. Daily free sodas and bottled water are a nice touch. One of the best features? There’s a free laundry machine on the premises—perfect for longer stays or business trips. This little detail made my entire stay in Beijing much more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back to Huashang Hotel next time I visit Beijing. Great value, great location, and genuine hospitality.

Just steps away from the hotel, there's a fantastic spicy hot pot place that’s perfect for late-night cravings. I ended up eating there twice—it’s affordable, tasty, and convenient. Being right near Zuojiazhuang Subway Station makes getting around Beijing super easy.
