Abasto Hotel
The staff at Abasto Hotel were incredibly friendly and even allowed me to check in early since my room was ready. I was so impressed by their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Buenos Aires, just a short walk from major attractions and public transit. It's a fantastic value for the comfort and service provided. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit—highly recommend!

Comfort is top-notch: the beds are incredibly cozy with plush mattresses, and the linens feel luxurious. Breakfast is solid but leans more toward sweet treats than savory options—though what they do offer is excellent. Their homemade brownies and coconut squares are absolutely delicious, rich and satisfying. The staff went above and beyond with their warmth and attentiveness—they made us feel welcome and helped resolve any little issue instantly. We actually came here for a quick errand, but ended up turning it into a delightful mini getaway in the capital. It’s perfectly located for exploring the city, and the local vibe is just right. A truly memorable stay with great value—highly recommend for travelers who appreciate style, comfort, and genuine hospitality.
First Palermo Hotel
My husband and I stayed in the superior room, which was spacious and well-appointed with a desk and two individual armchairs—perfect for relaxing or working. The in-room coffee maker and kettle with tea selection were such a thoughtful touch, making our mornings much more enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from Plaza Serrano, surrounded by cozy cafés, great restaurants, and lively local spots. The rooftop terrace is beautifully designed and ideal for a quiet drink or sunset view. While the pool wasn’t open during winter and isn’t climate-controlled, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. With its unbeatable value, excellent location, and warm, attentive staff at reception, this hotel truly stands out. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Buenos Aires.

Staying at Hotel Luey in Buenos Aires was a solid choice for me, especially given its prime location right on Av. Rivadavia 2914, just steps from Plaza Miserere. The convenience of having Line A subway access nearby made exploring the city a breeze—within minutes I was walking to iconic spots like the National Congress, Avenida de Mayo, 9 de Julio Avenue, the Casa Rosada, the Buenos Aires Cathedral, and the historic Cabildo. My room was on the fifth floor, which came with a small rooftop terrace featuring garden-style tables and chairs—perfect for relaxing on warm days. The rooms themselves were spacious, well-equipped with cable TV and air conditioning, and the staff provided friendly, attentive service throughout my stay. Wi-Fi worked well on my floor, though I’ve heard some guests had spotty connections on other levels—hopefully that’s been improved by now. Breakfast was a simple buffet with typical Argentine staples: medialunas, various breads, jams, and a few savory options like ham and cheese. While the variety wasn’t extensive, everything tasted fresh and quality was consistent. Overall, Hotel Luey delivers exactly what it promises—a comfortable, affordable, no-frills stay in a central location. It’s not luxury, but for travelers looking for value, good access, and a reliable base in Buenos Aires, this is definitely a recommendable option.

Howard Johnson by Wyndham Hotel Abasto
The experience here was really disappointing. Despite having a mini-kitchen in the room, we were explicitly told we couldn’t eat in our room or even use the restaurant tables—which were completely empty. When we asked for utensils to eat our takeaway, staff refused, saying it was against hotel policy. This made no sense at all—why provide a kitchenette if you can't use it? The lack of flexibility and basic hospitality was frustrating, especially since the hotel doesn’t even have an on-site restaurant. We ended up eating in the hallway just to avoid being denied access to basic facilities. Very poor service and a major letdown for such a high price point.

Gran Hotel Atlantic
My stay at Gran Hotel Atlantic was extremely disappointing. The overall cleanliness was poor—towels had holes, and the room felt unclean despite being a supposedly mid-range hotel. The bathroom layout is poorly designed: when you stand between the toilet and bidet to shower, water splashes everywhere, flooding the floor. The toilet paper dispenser is mounted so high that it's nearly touching the ceiling, making it awkward and inconvenient to use. There’s also a persistent musty smell in the room, suggesting inadequate cleaning or ventilation. For the price, this experience was far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel and wouldn’t consider staying here again.
PH Palermo Hostel
The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and helpful with absolutely everything I needed during my stay. My room was spotlessly clean, with no quirks or issues at all—just pure comfort. I really enjoyed the cozy rooftop terrace, perfect for relaxing in the evening breeze. While it’s about 5km from the city center, there are plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby, so dining out is super convenient. It’s a fantastic value for the quality and location. Would definitely recommend this place to fellow travelers.
