I’d been wanting to stay at Shangri-La Far Eastern Taipei for a while, mainly because my travel group consisted of three people who all wanted individual beds and a single room. I was a bit hesitant at first since most of the online reviews were from 2017–2018, but once I arrived, I completely changed my mind—this hotel exceeded all expectations. The ambiance is incredibly luxurious, and the overall quality is top-notch. The room was much bigger than the photos suggested, offering plenty of space and a really comfortable feel. From the moment we walked in, the bell staff and front desk team were welcoming and professional—every interaction was pleasant. The signature fragrance and premium toiletries added that extra touch of sophistication. Initially, I was disappointed to learn that none of the four-room options had views of Taipei 101 (which was part of our original shortlist), but after seeing the room in person, I didn’t care about the view at all—the condition, cleanliness, and comfort were just too good. During our 3-night stay, we only encountered one other Korean guest (in the elevator!), and the breakfast area and pool were mostly filled with European travelers, giving it a very international vibe. What stood out the most was how the hotel proactively sent us a confirmation email after booking to confirm our schedule—something many 5-star hotels don’t do. It made planning so much easier and gave me peace of mind. Overall, this trip was enjoyable and stress-free thanks to the excellent service. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.

Staying at W Taipei was an absolute delight—every detail screams luxury and thoughtfulness. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the metro, making it easy to explore Taipei. The sauna experience was exceptional—pure relaxation. The 24-hour gym is a major plus for early birds or night owls like me. One small note: the speakers in the room are a bit quiet and lack strong audio impact, but it’s hardly a dealbreaker. Oh, and the hairdryer? A Dyson—yes, really! That alone made the stay feel extra special. Overall, this is a top-tier urban retreat with style, comfort, and attention to detail.

This trip to Asia included stays at other luxury hotels like Mandarin Oriental's counterparts, but none could match the exceptional experience at Mandarin Oriental Taipei. From the moment I walked in, warm greetings from staff made me feel instantly welcome—like coming home. The room was immaculately clean and meticulously maintained; even my tangled data cable was neatly organized and secured with a hotel-provided tie. Daily water replenishment was prompt, and the nightly turndown service went above and beyond—my room was refreshed, essentials restocked, and everything put back just right. The location is fantastic: surrounded by excellent restaurants and easily accessible via public transit to major attractions. Every team member I interacted with showed genuine care and professionalism. It’s rare to find such consistent attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality. I can’t wait to return.

Located just minutes from the city center, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Taipei, and the overall experience was outstanding. The lobby on the first floor is beautifully designed with a grand, welcoming atmosphere. Multiple elevators mean no long waits—definitely a plus for convenience. We booked during the week, but unexpectedly found the hotel fully booked that day, leaving only double rooms available. We even wanted to extend our stay by one more night, but unfortunately, the next day was also completely full—really disappointing! Still, the room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There are plenty of dining options right downstairs, and across the street, you’ll find a 7-Eleven and a Cosme store—super convenient for snacks or essentials. The location and service make it worth returning. My only advice? Book early—don’t wait until the last minute, especially if you’re planning a weekend or midweek trip!

The location couldn’t be better—right across from Taipei 101 and nestled in the heart of Xinyi District, making it incredibly easy to explore shops, restaurants, and attractions on foot. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff made me feel welcome with genuine warmth and professionalism. The space is elegant and inviting, setting the tone for a luxurious experience. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, with a plush bed and an incredible view of Taipei 101—worth every penny. Housekeeping maintained the highest standard throughout my visit, keeping everything spotless and well-organized. Breakfast was a highlight—a generous buffet offering a wide range of fresh, delicious options from both Western and Asian cuisines. I especially appreciated the quality and variety. The fitness center and pool were well-maintained and offered a peaceful retreat after a long day. Overall, this hotel delivers on every front: comfort, service, and convenience. What truly stood out was the staff: every single team member was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Special thanks to Song, who helped with check-out—his thoughtful kindness and personal touch left a lasting impression. The entire property is smoke-free, which contributes to a clean, peaceful atmosphere. I stayed in a south-facing room, and the natural light streaming in throughout the day was beautiful. The bed was firm, but surprisingly comfortable—I slept really well without any discomfort. The only minor note is that lighting in the elevator and hallway could be a bit brighter, but it’s a small detail in an otherwise outstanding stay. This hotel offers elegance, comfort, and excellent service at a great value. I’ll definitely be back.

I finally stayed at the Eslite Hotel Taipei, and it completely lived up to my expectations! The front desk was incredibly helpful—they upgraded us to a room with a view of Taipei 101 and the Dome, which made the whole experience even more special. The hotel isn’t huge, but everything is well-organized and thoughtfully designed, creating a calm, inviting atmosphere. Breakfast was a semi-self-service style with classic Taiwanese flavors—delicious, filling, and perfect for starting the day. The real highlight? The 24-hour bookstore right downstairs. I grabbed a few vinyl records late at night, and saw families reading with their kids—such a peaceful, inspiring vibe. Plus, both Songshan Cultural Park and the Dome are just a short walk away, making it super convenient for exploring. My only tiny suggestion: the towels and bath sheets have seen some wear and are slightly yellowed—maybe a replacement schedule could help maintain that fresh feel. But honestly, this doesn’t take away from how much I loved the location, service, and overall charm. A truly unique stay in the heart of Taipei.

Staying at Kimpton Da An Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk from the MRT station, making it super convenient to explore downtown Taipei. The lobby has a calming, inviting atmosphere with a subtle scent that instantly puts you at ease. Staff are courteous and always ready to help, opening doors with a warm smile as you enter or exit. Nearby, I discovered the legendary Tian Xia San Jue Beef Noodle Soup—rich broth, perfectly tender beef, and a must-try. M One Coffee nearby is also fantastic, with a cozy vibe and excellent brews. What truly stood out was how pet-friendly the hotel is—my dog felt right at home, and the staff treated him like family. Service was impeccable throughout, and the overall experience was simply outstanding. Highly recommend this gem for any traveler visiting Taipei!
