Beijing Marriott Executive Apartments（the Forbidden City，Tiananmen）
We stayed here for New Year’s Eve with my daughter, and it turned out to be an absolutely unforgettable experience. After wandering around Wangfujing for a while, we finally found this hotel—perfectly located, reasonably priced, and best of all, free parking. We both love serviced apartments because of the separate living area and small kitchen, which made our stay feel more like home. The room design was surprisingly thoughtful: a spacious living room, a quiet bedroom, a shower, and even a big soaking tub—despite the central location, the layout felt open and well-organized. Two bathrooms and ample closet space made everything convenient. Dining options were affordable too, perfect for longer stays or family trips. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, with just the right thickness of duvet for the room temperature. The bathrobe was soft and warm—so cozy I almost wanted to take it home! Staff were exceptional; they reached out via WeChat in advance to check if we had any special needs, and check-in/check-out went smoothly and stress-free. One tiny suggestion: after cleaning, could they please switch the showerhead back to handheld mode? I wasn’t planning to shower, but when I turned it on, water came pouring down from the ceiling fixture—my clothes got soaked! Still, that’s just a minor quirk. Overall, the entire experience was magical, especially celebrating the New Year with my daughter. Thank you for such a wonderful memory!

Located just steps from the subway, getting around the city is super easy. It’s rare to find such a high level of comfort and value in this price range. If you're visiting Beijing, don’t overlook Jiangsu Plaza—it truly delivers beyond expectations.

Even in winter, the room stayed cozy thanks to the underfloor heating — no chilly floors at all. The staff were incredibly thoughtful too; they helped carry our luggage upstairs without hesitation. And if you’re ever hungry, the ground-floor dining area serves up warm, comforting meals anytime — I had a steaming bowl of noodles that hit the spot. The bathroom facilities are fully equipped, and having a shower cubicle was a big plus, though the drain is slightly inconveniently placed near the clothes storage area, so the dry/wet separation isn’t ideal. My triple bunk room was cozy and smartly arranged—each bed has its own bedside lamp, privacy curtain, and small personal space with a handy shelf. It felt secure and private despite being a shared room. Honestly, I was so happy with my stay that I extended my trip by one extra day just to linger longer. This hostel nails cleanliness, comfort, safety, and value—all key elements for a great budget-friendly stay. If you're looking for a welcoming, authentic youth hostel experience in Beijing, this is definitely worth trying. More people should give hostels a chance—there’s so much warmth and connection to be found beyond the stereotypes.
