The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk or quick transit away from most of Kolkata’s top attractions. From check-in to checkout, the service throughout was excellent—clean rooms, attentive staff, and fantastic dining experiences whether it was breakfast in the morning or dinner in the evening. The team goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Special mention to Kanhatya, who looked after my room—he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely made me feel at home. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. This place offers outstanding value and comfort. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to any traveler visiting Kolkata.

I was completely surprised to discover this floating hotel—such a unique and beautiful concept! The location is super convenient, and the overall vibe is absolutely stunning. Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay feel so personal and warm. If you're into Instagram-worthy moments, this place is pure magic—every corner is photogenic. The breakfast was an absolute highlight: flavorful curries, fresh naan, zapati, and a wide array of sweet treats that made mornings unforgettable. Even though it's a floating property, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. My only minor note is that toilet paper and tissues weren’t available anywhere—even inside the rooms—which might be more of a local norm rather than a hotel oversight. But honestly, that didn’t take away from my amazing experience. I absolutely loved this hotel and would 100% recommend it to friends and family. A true gem in Kolkata!

I've been a repeat guest at this property for the past five years, and I continue to be impressed with my stays at Pan Asia Continental. The hotel is perfectly located on a main road, making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The atmosphere is welcoming, and every staff member I’ve interacted with has been exceptionally courteous—especially the front desk team, Ms. Rudrrani and Ms. Philomina, who consistently go above and beyond. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and stylish retreat. My only small suggestion would be to install a handheld showerhead in the bathroom for added convenience during bathing. Despite that minor detail, the overall experience remains outstanding. With its prime location, excellent service, and consistent quality, this hotel continues to be my top choice in Kolkata.

However, I noticed the housekeeping staff also handled food delivery, which raised some hygiene concerns for me personally. Room service took at least an hour to arrive—long wait, especially if you're hungry. Portion sizes are just right for one person, but if you're sensitive to spice, be sure to ask for it milder. That said, the hotel’s location is excellent—conveniently close to downtown with easy access to local transport. Despite a few minor drawbacks, the overall experience was good, and the value for money makes it worth considering.

The Stadel
I was really impressed with my stay at The Stadel overall—everything exceeded my expectations. The only minor quirk was the pool schedule, which runs until 9:00 PM and then reopens at 6:00 PM, leaving a gap in between—slightly confusing but not a dealbreaker. Also, towels in the pool area are charged, which I found a bit surprising, though it’s a small thing. That said, these didn’t detract from the excellent experience at all. The staff truly made the difference—special thanks to the front desk team, especially Sony, the bar staff at the Egyptian Bar, the manager, and the restaurant waitstaff. Everyone was warm, professional, and attentive. The ambiance is elegant, the location is convenient, and the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues—and I’m already planning to come back myself.
