The location of Le Westin Montreal is absolutely fantastic—super convenient for getting around, and even on June 29th when it was raining, I could still catch a stunning view of the Rocky Mountains right from the hotel entrance. The room was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was assigned a room that required walking down a short flight of stairs after exiting the elevator, which made carrying luggage a bit tricky—but honestly, not a big deal. The quiet setting and unique layout added charm to the stay. Overall, an exceptional experience with great value, and I’d definitely return.

Absolutely incredible value for the price! This was one of the best stays I've had in Montreal, especially considering how affordable it was. We booked a spacious apartment-style room for two, and it was perfect—plenty of space, clean, and located just steps away from Old Montreal's charming streets and attractions. The neighborhood is walkable and full of great cafes and local shops, so we didn’t need to rely on public transit at all. There was a faint odd smell when we first arrived, but airing it out fixed it right away—no real issue. Communication with the team was a bit slow at first, but honestly, given how low the price was, that’s a minor gripe. Overall, an outstanding experience with no regrets. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and a solid deal, this place is a must-try.

This place was a total disaster from start to finish. The building looked run-down, and the front door was blocked by overflowing trash bins—no joke. Inside the room, mold was everywhere, especially around the windows and bathroom, giving off a sickening, musty smell that lingered in the air. The owner was nearly impossible to reach, and when I finally got through, they smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant. Despite being in Old Montreal, getting there was a hassle, with no clear signage or easy access. This wasn’t just bad—it felt like a scam. I’ve stayed in plenty of budget places before, but this one crossed every line. Avoid at all costs.

Our stay at Mosaique on Rue de la Gauchetiere was absolutely terrible—far below any acceptable standard, and definitely not worth even one star. From the moment we walked into the apartment, we were met with a long list of serious issues. The floors were filthy, clearly never cleaned before our arrival. Windows were covered in grime, and the air conditioning units were clogged with dust, making them extremely loud—like a broken airplane engine—so loud that we couldn’t sleep at night. One window in the living room had no shutters at all, just a missing frame that looked like it had been ripped off. There was a large stain on the floor near the front door, and the wooden board underneath was uneven. The toilet kept leaking water after flushing, creating constant noise that disrupted our rest. No curtains were provided—only flimsy blinds that collapsed every time we tried to open or close them. The smell of food was so strong when we arrived that we had to keep all windows open just to breathe. We found blood stains on both the mattress and pillowcase—this is unacceptable. Dangerous wires were hanging loose from the AC unit on the floor. The dining room chair was broken and made of cheap plastic. There was zero storage space: only two tiny closets, one of which contained cleaning tools like a mop and bucket. The bed was too small for two people, despite the room being spacious enough for a larger one. There was only one small side table in the bedroom—why not include two? The photos used during booking were completely misleading—the building looks nothing like the images shown; the view is just a brick wall, and very little natural light enters. The company name suggests a high-end corporate experience, but the reality is far from it—cheap furniture, minimal kitchen supplies, and even no tissues. The towels in the bathroom were rough and unusable. To top it off, the prices were exorbitant for a two-week stay, with a high security deposit and cleaning fee. This entire experience has been a nightmare. We’re still waiting for a resolution from Corporate Stays and have attached photos as proof. We cannot recommend this property under any circumstances.

Staying at Hotel Zero 1 Montreal was an absolute highlight of my trip to Montreal. The location is perfect—just a short walk from downtown and surrounded by great restaurants, cafes, and local vibes. The hotel itself feels modern and thoughtfully designed, with clean, spacious rooms and excellent comfort, especially the bed—perfectly balanced for a restful night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and attentive, even upgraded my room without any hassle. What really stood out was how much value you get for the price—luxury amenities without the luxury price tag. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal.

Staying at Empire Suites was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—perfectly situated between Old Montreal and downtown, making it super easy to explore both areas. I loved how quiet the room was despite being in a bustling city, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, so I slept like a baby. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out went smoothly. Clean, modern, and well-maintained—this place really delivers on every level. If you're visiting Montreal, this is definitely a top pick for a stress-free, enjoyable experience.

Staying at Maison Montplaisir was such a delightful experience from start to finish. The property is nestled in a charming, quiet neighborhood that feels like stepping into a cozy European village. Our room was spacious enough for me, my partner, and his child—no cramped feeling at all. Having a mini-fridge and microwave was a huge plus, especially for storing snacks or quickly heating up meals. The ensuite bathroom was a real bonus, offering privacy and convenience. We had to leave early the next morning, but we were thrilled to know breakfast was available—definitely looking forward to trying it on a future visit. Robert, the property manager, stood out as one of the most welcoming and thoughtful hosts I’ve ever encountered. His attention to detail and genuine kindness made the stay feel personal and warm. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal—it’s a hidden gem with heart and charm.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic—so many Old Town attractions are within walking distance, and the bus stop right outside (Route 747) makes getting around effortless. However, the room amenities were a bit of a letdown. There was no kettle or coffee maker available, and the front desk didn’t offer any alternatives. They do provide one pot of coffee each morning, but it’s gone by 10 AM, so if you arrive early like we did at 8:30 AM, you’re out of luck. We were told check-in wasn’t possible until 4 PM, which felt unnecessarily restrictive. While the central location more than makes up for it, the lack of basic in-room facilities and inflexible check-in time really dampened the overall experience. Would have been better with a few small upgrades.

Lelux Hotel is a charming hidden gem in Montreal! Though established back in 1967 and with slightly dated facilities, the rooms are surprisingly spacious, spotlessly clean, and offer great value for money. The free breakfast is a real highlight—freshly baked croissants every morning that are warm, buttery, and absolutely delicious. Staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful, and they offer complimentary luggage storage, which makes checking in and out so much easier. The location is fantastic—right next to the Hyatt hotel, making it easy to find. Just walk down Rue Saint-Catherine, turn left onto Rue Saint-Laurent, and you’ll reach Chinatown in about 15 minutes. While some restaurants here are excellent—especially Qiangji for Cantonese food and Lam Zai Kei for their roast meats—others have been disappointing. Some places serve bland food, and unfortunately, there’s been reports of staff treating Chinese guests poorly, even pressuring them to leave tips. I’d personally avoid places like Suancai Fish + Yifang Milk Tea and Weishi Ji. On the bright side, it’s just a 30-minute walk to Old Port, and if you step outside the hotel at night, you can see the glowing Ferris wheel at the port—just follow the lights and enjoy the scenic evening stroll. A peaceful, authentic stay with a touch of old-school charm.

Staying at Le Merrill - Vieux Montréal was an absolute delight. The location couldn’t be better—just a pleasant walk from VIA Station, making it super easy to explore the city on foot. I visited with my daughters, and we walked everywhere: to restaurants, along the riverfront piers, and through charming old-town streets. It was such a beautiful weekend full of discovery and relaxation. The apartment came with a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine—perfect for longer stays. The separate bedroom offered great privacy and comfort. Everything about this place felt thoughtfully designed, and I’d definitely come back.

I absolutely loved the location and cleanliness of this place—truly exceptional! Being right in the heart of Montreal's Quartier Latin made exploring the city so convenient; everything from local cafes to cultural attractions was just a short walk away. The room was spotless, with every detail thoughtfully maintained—from the pristine bathroom to the cozy bed setup. It felt like a home away from home, yet with that special touch of luxury. I’m already planning my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay in Montreal.

Felt just like home from the moment we arrived. The stay was truly comfortable and cozy—perfect after a full day of exploring. Coming back to the room and the well-equipped kitchen made it feel like a real retreat. The neighborhood is charming, with a great local market nearby and a free public pool just steps away. The metro station is only a 10-minute walk, and the iconic Olympic Stadium with its towering structure is right around the corner. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always ready to help—both the manager and housekeeping team made a big difference in making our experience so pleasant. It’s rare to find such warmth, convenience, and value in a city setting. Highly recommend this hidden gem for travelers who want authenticity and comfort without the hassle.
