I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Montreal. The location is excellent—just steps away from the metro, making it easy to explore the city. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with thoughtful touches: a stylish table, a comfy chair, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker—all perfect for a relaxing stay. The bed was cozy and supportive, and the soundproofing kept things quiet at night. Staff were friendly and efficient during check-in. Overall, this place offers great value, clean amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any traveler visiting Montreal.

The stay was underwhelming overall. The rooms were extremely small and overcrowded with outdated furniture, making the space feel cramped and uncomfortable. One room had no window at all—completely dark and oppressive. The bathroom was tiny, with a sink that seemed more like a basic washbasin than a proper vanity. For five guests, there were only three glasses in the kitchen—definitely not enough for everyone. We also noticed the front door handle was held together with excessive duct tape, and the kitchen window blind was broken. While the location is convenient and close to transit, these issues reflect poor maintenance and management. The price didn’t justify the condition, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

Staying at Sonder Lambert Apartments in Old Montreal was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—right next to Notre-Dame Basilica and tucked away on a quiet side street, perfectly balancing convenience with peace. I walked to the cathedral in just a few steps, reached Old Port within minutes, and was only a 10-minute stroll from Chinatown and the Art Museum. Three days of exploring entirely on foot made it so easy and enjoyable. The apartment itself is beautifully converted from a historic French-style building—classic exterior with a fresh, modern interior. It’s fully equipped with a well-stocked kitchen, washer, and dryer, making self-catering a breeze. The bed linens were soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. For a short stay in Montreal, this place hits all the right notes—great location, smart design, and excellent value.

Staying at Hotel Zero 1 Montreal was an absolute highlight of my trip to Montreal. The location is perfect—just a short walk from downtown and surrounded by great restaurants, cafes, and local vibes. The hotel itself feels modern and thoughtfully designed, with clean, spacious rooms and excellent comfort, especially the bed—perfectly balanced for a restful night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and attentive, even upgraded my room without any hassle. What really stood out was how much value you get for the price—luxury amenities without the luxury price tag. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Ste-Catherine! While the room was compact, it was perfect for a quick overnight getaway—clean, cozy, and just right for exploring Montreal during the day. The staff at the front desk were incredibly polite, patient, and genuinely helpful. They gave me great local tips and even helped with transportation suggestions, making my trip so much smoother. The location is ideal for city explorers—walkable to many attractions and close to public transit. I appreciate how thoughtfully designed the space is despite its size. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, no-frills base in Montreal.

This hotel is absolutely excellent—perfect location right in the heart of Old Montreal. Everything you’d want is just a short walk away: great restaurants, shops, historic sites, and vibrant streetscapes. The staff were incredibly welcoming, but special thanks to the manager who went above and beyond when I had an issue prior to check-in. He handled it with care and professionalism, turning what could’ve been a stressful situation into a smooth experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. If I ever return to Montreal, this will be my first choice. A truly memorable stay with outstanding value and service.

The property has recently been rebranded to 'Sand et Stone,' which was a bit confusing since the sign still reads 'Villa Hotel.' That said, the bathroom has been renovated and looks fresh and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's well located—easy access to public transit and downtown attractions. The building itself has that classic 1920s architectural charm, which adds character. However, the overall experience didn't quite meet our expectations. While the exterior is impressive, the interior feel and amenities were a bit underwhelming for the price point. It’s a decent option if you’re looking for something convenient and unique in style, but not necessarily top-tier compared to other choices in the area.

This wonderful hotel, a place I've cherished for years, has unfortunately closed due to the lasting impact of the pandemic. The management shared that they couldn't sustain operations any longer, though they mentioned a possible future reopening in a new format—perhaps partially residential—but no definite plans are confirmed yet. Over the years, it welcomed countless high-profile guests and was always my go-to spot for impressing visitors with its elegant charm and exceptional dining experience. It’s truly a loss for Montreal’s hospitality scene.

Absolutely stunning! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade—spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the modern furnishings to the quiet, cozy atmosphere. Located just steps away from downtown Montreal’s best attractions, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city by foot or public transit. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional—from the warm staff to the thoughtful amenities. This hotel truly delivers on comfort, style, and value. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone visiting Montreal.

Staying at AC Hotel Old Montreal was an absolute delight. Located right in the heart of Old Town, it’s perfect for travelers who love exploring historic neighborhoods. I was especially happy to find that Chinatown is just a 10-minute walk away—convenient and easy to access. There’s also the 747 shuttle bus nearby, which makes airport transfers hassle-free. The staff went above and beyond; when I needed to print documents but couldn’t receive emails, a front desk attendant patiently helped me sort everything out—such a thoughtful touch. My room was a spacious twin-bed layout with a separate living area and a small kitchenette, ideal for self-catering. Breakfast is included and offers a solid selection of Western options. The only minor downside is the check-in time (after 4 PM), but they offer free luggage storage, so you can explore the city without carrying your bags. Overall, great value, excellent location, and top-notch service—highly recommend for anyone visiting Montreal.

Staying at Hôtel Saint-Sulpice was an absolute delight. The location couldn’t be better—right behind the Notre-Dame Basilica, just a 5-minute walk to Chinatown and Old Port. I highly recommend trying Peng He and Jin Feng in Chinatown—they serve some of the best authentic Chinese food I’ve had in Montreal. The hotel is quiet, well-maintained, and feels like a cozy home away from home. With such a prime spot and excellent value, this place is definitely my top pick for future visits to Montreal.

Staying at Hotel Gault in Montreal was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the metro and surrounded by great cafes, shops, and attractions. The hotel itself is spotless, with every detail thoughtfully considered. From high-quality toiletries to well-designed furnishings, everything felt fresh and carefully curated. The room was quiet, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. What stood out most was the authentic European charm—cozy yet elegant, like stepping into a little Parisian hideaway. It's rare to find such a clean, well-maintained property with this level of character in North America. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next visit to Montreal. A true gem—highly recommend!
