Fera Palace Hotel
Our stay at Fera Palace Hotel was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Leandro greeted us with such warmth and energy—his passion for Salvador truly shone through, making us feel instantly welcome. Bruno went above and beyond by thoughtfully organizing a surprise birthday celebration for our friend, showing incredible care and attention to detail. Every staff member we met was kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our experience special. The rooms were spacious and impeccably designed, with beds so comfortable we almost didn’t want to get out of them. The rooftop pool and bar offered breathtaking views of the harbor—perfect for relaxing with a drink in hand. As food lovers, we were blown away by the quality and creativity of the cuisine. We also indulged in a massage with Margot, who delivered an incredibly soothing and professional treatment. Even though we only stayed two nights, it felt like we’d already become part of the Fera family. The hotel’s rich history, prime location, and exceptional team made our time in Salvador truly magical. We can’t wait to return. This beautifully preserved colonial house, thoughtfully decorated by its Italian owner, is split into four charming apartments—two overlooking the Bay of All Saints and two facing the vibrant old town. The street itself is a delight: quiet, lined with historic buildings, cozy cafés, bakeries, art studios, and local bars. Staying here feels like stepping back in time. Antonella, the host, is incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and offers fantastic, personalized recommendations for local restaurants, cultural spots, and hidden gems. The neighborhood is peaceful and well-policed—no safety concerns at all. In Salvador, I’d definitely come back. This place isn’t just a hotel; it’s an experience you’ll remember long after you leave.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Nestled right in the heart of Rio Vermelho, I was able to explore so many local spots on foot—no need for taxis or public transport. The property itself feels incredibly organized and cozy, with warm, welcoming staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The layout is split across three floors: ground level houses the front desk and breakfast area, the second floor is the hostel zone with shared spaces, while the third and fourth floors hold the guest rooms. If you have mobility challenges, keep in mind that everything is accessed via stairs. My room (31) had a stunning sea view, was spacious, and filled with natural light—just a tiny bit of street noise from outside, but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all. The breakfast is hands down the highlight—huge variety of pastries, savory bites, caponata, and more—all fresh and delicious. I left feeling completely satisfied. One note: there’s no parking on-site, but there’s a small lot just around the corner where you can rent a spot easily. Overall, this is a gem of a stay—great location, amazing vibe, and incredible value. Highly recommended!
