60 Balconies Art

Staying at 60 Balconies Art in Madrid was an absolute delight. The apartment is incredibly well-equipped—complete with a washer, dishwasher, oven, full set of kitchenware, and even a proper espresso machine that makes café-quality coffee. The spacious living area is perfect for relaxing, and the smart TV offers seamless access to Netflix and YouTube, so there's never a dull moment. But the real highlight? The view from the window. Watching the sunset over Madrid’s train station is simply breathtaking—it feels like you're right in the heart of the city’s pulse. Right downstairs on the right side is a tiny gem called 100 Montaditos—a super affordable tapas bar that I’d highly recommend. There are plenty of other great restaurants nearby, and the train station is just steps away. Easy access to everything, unbeatable location, and incredible value. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Madrid.

Check-in was incredibly smooth thanks to the smart, tech-driven system—no stress at all. Even when I forgot my key card late at night, the machine automatically issued a replacement, which was such a relief. Since we were traveling with kids, having a kitchen was a game-changer: we could cook meals and do laundry on-site, which made our extended stay so much more comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed—pots, pans, cutlery, you name it—so the kids could even make their own noodles, which they loved. The room itself is spacious and well-designed, with two bathrooms and a lovely balcony that offered great views of the city. It’s rare to find such a practical yet stylish apartment in Madrid, especially with this level of convenience and comfort. Highly recommend for families or travelers who want independence and home-like ease.

60 Balconies Iconic

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and the location is unbeatable—right next to a Michelin-starred restaurant, just steps from the Four Seasons, and within minutes of Madrid's bustling city center. I was at Puerta del Sol in under 5 minutes, and there are three Carrefour supermarkets nearby (the City one is the biggest). The underground parking made drop-offs and pickups super easy for my driver. Daily housekeeping, dishwasher, washer with dryer—so convenient! The small balcony is perfect for a quiet drink at sunset. There’s a McDonald’s right downstairs, and just a short 6–8 minute walk away are two standout dining options: Chao Tian Men Hotpot and a Korean BBQ buffet that blew me away. Everything is so well-connected and thoughtfully placed. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a great base for exploring Madrid. I’d definitely come back.

Ilunion Pio XII

The Ilunion Pio XII hotel offers a clean, well-maintained environment and a solid breakfast selection—both are definitely highlights. That said, the location is quite far from the city center and main attractions. If you're only staying for one or two nights, it might be better to choose a place closer to the action. The good news? Bus line 150 stops right outside the hotel and goes directly to Puerta del Sol with no transfers, making public transit a convenient option. Just keep in mind that taxis in Madrid are extremely expensive—my ride from the hotel to the city center cost over €30, which isn’t ideal for short stays. Overall, this hotel works better for longer visits when you’re looking to save on transport costs and don’t mind a bit of distance. For travelers prioritizing convenience and budget, especially those planning to explore on foot or by bus, this place offers great value.

Located just steps from the metro, the hotel sits in a lively neighborhood packed with cozy cafés, boutiques, and local gems. Breakfast offered a great variety of fresh, tasty options—perfect for starting the day right. It’s rare to find such a stylish, well-run place with such a welcoming vibe. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed with modern touches like a mini-fridge, climate control, and plenty of outlets. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the comfy bed to the well-lit workspace. At 1,200 RMB per night including breakfast, it's excellent value for money. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Located just steps from the metro, getting around Madrid was incredibly convenient. Hotel Catalonia Gran Via Madrid

This recently renovated hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay with a great location. Despite having 7 floors and somewhat old-fashioned elevators, they work perfectly fine and don’t hinder the experience at all. The real highlight is the unbeatable location—situated right between two metro stations (Gran Via and Sevilla), with a bus stop just outside the door. It’s only a 3-minute walk to Primark, and you can reach Plaza Mayor, along with the famous Bear and Strawberry Tree monument, in under 15 minutes on foot. Perfect for exploring Madrid’s city center without needing a car. Great value, excellent convenience, and a top choice for travelers who want both comfort and accessibility.
