Hotel Excelsior Venice

Staying at Hotel Excelsior Venice for three nights was an absolute delight. The hotel is incredibly quiet in the evenings, and the bed was so comfortable that even after a long flight from Vienna with back pain, I woke up feeling completely refreshed. When we checked in, we requested a twin-bed room instead of the double bed we were initially assigned—although it caused a slight delay with dinner, the manager personally escorted us to the restaurant and even treated us to free drinks and a salad while we waited. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. The room was cleaned promptly every day, and they even turned down the beds at night—such thoughtful touches. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and dinner was excellent, especially with a glass of wine by the sea. The pool maintains a perfect temperature, and the sea water is warm enough to swim in—great for families with kids who also loved the on-site playground. Best of all, the hotel offers free shuttle boats to the main island every 30 minutes, running until 11 PM—perfect for exploring without worrying about transport. This place is highly convenient, well-maintained, and full of charm. I’ll definitely be coming back here next time I visit Venice.

Ca' di Dio - VRetreats, an SLH Hotel

Staying here was an absolute highlight during my visit to Venice, especially for the Biennale. I arrived at 11 a.m., and although my room wasn’t ready yet, the front desk staff immediately helped me store my luggage. The young guy behind the counter even filled up my water bottle with sparkling water—such a thoughtful touch. Then, the senior manager pulled out a hand-drawn map of Venice and personally pointed out must-visit spots with genuine passion. The room itself was cozy and quiet, with a direct view of the lagoon—just open the door and you’re greeted by serene sea views. Breakfast was delicious, and stepping outside afterward felt like having the whole waterfront to myself. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and unbeatable location made this stay unforgettable. Definitely returning.

The St. Regis Venice

We arrived in Venice early at 6 AM with a flight, and the water taxi took us straight to the hotel dock by 7 AM. I was a bit worried about checking in so early, but the staff were incredibly accommodating and processed our check-in immediately—no issues at all. We originally had planned to stay at Aman, but it was fully booked, so we switched to The St. Regis Venice. Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with that decision. From the moment we stepped onto the private dock, the beauty of the property hit us—elegant architecture, luxurious details, and that unmistakable St. Regis charm. It’s not just a hotel; it’s an experience. The location on the Grand Canal is perfect, and every corner feels like a scene from a movie. If you’re looking for timeless elegance and exceptional service, this is it. Highly recommend—worth every penny.
