The neighborhood has a charming, local vibe, and the nearby Noma Lane is actually quite famous for its quaint atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the space was absolutely spacious—especially the bathroom, which felt like a luxury retreat. The hotel has that classic 2000s style—simple, clean, and full of character—and honestly, I really appreciate that old-school elegance. It’s not flashy, but it feels authentic and cozy. Perfect for travelers who value comfort and charm over modern gimmicks. Would definitely stay here again.

When I visited last December, the lighting was a bit dim, but during my trips in February and April, the place had been freshly renovated with brighter, more inviting lights. This recent visit was just as enjoyable as before. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent value for money—it’s no surprise I’ll be booking here again next year. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

One small note: the sofa bed on the lower level didn't come with a blanket or cover, which wasn't clearly mentioned beforehand. We ended up borrowing one from above and returned it properly. A little heads-up in advance would’ve been helpful, but overall it wasn’t an issue. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having eight packs of bamboo shoots left in the room—my family enjoyed six of them, which felt like a warm welcome from the hosts. All in all, this was a comfortable, affordable stay with excellent access to the city center. Definitely considering it again on my next visit to Yokohama.

Across the street is Shinyokahama Park—a spacious green area with a small river, a large sports field, and several smaller courts. I enjoyed morning runs there; it’s peaceful, well-used, but never too crowded. Around the hotel, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets—everything you need within easy reach. The room was compact but spotless, modern, and well-maintained. Everything worked as expected, including the private bathroom. I didn’t get to try the microwave, but that’s a minor detail. With a special rate of 337 CNY per night through the platform, this was an excellent value for money. Highly recommend for travelers seeking comfort, location, and affordability.

The Hare-Tabi Sauna & Inn Yokohama is absolutely stunning—clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming with warm smiles and great service throughout our stay. We didn’t get a chance to use the sauna this time around, but it’s definitely on my list for next visit. I’d love to come back just to experience it properly. A fantastic place with excellent vibes and top-notch hospitality.
