I also appreciated having a supermarket just steps away for convenience. The only minor downside was the lack of an electric kettle in the room, but that’s easy to manage with a personal travel kettle. While Ottakring is a bit off the main tourist path, it’s not an issue at all. Just a short walk to the tram (toward Schönbrunn), S-Bahn, and U3 line, which connects straight into the city center.
