Our service representative, Xiao Zhu, went above and beyond by upgrading our room without extra charge and gave us detailed tips on hotel amenities and local attractions. Thanks to WeChat, we easily sorted out travel plans and recommendations during our stay—truly personalized service. The room itself was immaculately clean, with plush bedding and pillows that made for one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a long time. Soundproofing was excellent—no noise disturbances at all during the night. The bathroom featured a smart dry-wet separation design, and the heating system kept the room cozy and warm throughout. Everything you’d need is available onsite: a lovely in-house restaurant, a stylish bar, a fully equipped fitness center, and a convenient self-service laundry area. Best of all? Even with high demand at The Club Lounge, staff still offered gracious, low-bow service to members—such a nice touch. The welcome fruit and breakfast were both delicious and well-prepared. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. The Bund skyline is stunning day or night—definitely worth every moment spent by the window. I’ve already taken countless photos and can’t wait to come back. Ocean Hotel Shanghai

We booked three rooms for our family trip, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel staff went above and beyond—our rooms were upgraded for free, which was a wonderful surprise. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds and pillows provided exceptional comfort, making for a restful night’s sleep. One minor issue was that the fabric sofa in the room looked a bit worn and needed cleaning. On one occasion, the housekeeping staff seemed slightly impatient when helping with a light fixture issue, but this didn’t overshadow the great service we received elsewhere. The front desk team was incredibly friendly and always eager to help. We loved how close the hotel is to the metro station—just a short walk away—and right across the street is a large shopping mall, perfect for dining and browsing.
