Staying at Le Méridien Stuttgart was an absolute highlight of my trip to Stuttgart. The location is unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk from the central train station and only 3 minutes to the National Gallery subway stop, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. You're literally steps away from Castle Park, Königstraße shopping street, and the State Art Gallery, and car enthusiasts can easily visit the Porsche and Mercedes-Benz Museums nearby. The hotel’s facilities are top-notch: the 850 sqm Le SPA wellness center features a heated indoor pool, steam rooms at 70°C and 90°C, infrared saunas, and a fully equipped 24-hour gym—perfect for relaxation or staying active. I especially appreciated the Unlock Art™ program, which lets guests with a room key access the State Art Gallery for free—no extra cost, just convenience. Service was outstanding: the front desk offered round-the-clock support, and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly with Chinese language options, which made everything smooth for me as an international traveler. Rooms were spacious, well-designed, and came with premium toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, and plenty of charging ports. Some rooms even had beautiful city or garden views. Staying at Hilton Garden Inn Stuttgart NeckarPark was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Stuttgart. The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a 700-meter walk from the Mercedes-Benz Museum, making it perfect for fans of automotive history or anyone planning a day trip to the museum. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and modern amenities that made the stay very relaxing. What really stood out was the excellent location near the subway station. It’s only about an hour by train to the famous bookstore in the city center—ideal for exploring local highlights. The hotel is situated right next to two major football stadiums—home to both Ferrari and Mercedes teams—so if you're lucky enough to catch a match, it's an unforgettable experience. There’s also a formal restaurant on-site where men are required to wear long pants, which adds a touch of elegance. The staff there were stylish and professional, with waitresses dressed in a way that definitely turned heads. On the ground floor, you’ll find a team memorabilia shop for Stuttgart FC fans—great for picking up souvenirs. While the area isn’t residential, it’s buzzing with energy thanks to young visitors and sports enthusiasts who come here specifically for events and games. Overall, the atmosphere is lively, the service is warm, and the value for money is outstanding. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Stuttgart.
Hampton by Hilton Stuttgart City Centre
I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Stuttgart City Centre for a few nights and overall, it was a great experience. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well-maintained—bedding was cozy, and I slept really well. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and made check-in and check-out smooth. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved: Parking is a real issue. I left around 5 PM, but when I returned at 8 PM, there were no spots available. Checked back at 10 PM and again at midnight—still nothing. I ended up having to park in a hotel-recommended underground garage that’s a 15-minute walk away. When I came back the next morning at 8 AM to pick up my car, I was charged 25€ for parking. That’s quite steep. The bathroom has a modern design, but there’s no door or curtain for the shower area, so water easily splashes out during use, making the floor slippery. Also, there are no complimentary bottled waters in the room—guests have to boil water using the kettle or drink from the tap, which might not be ideal for everyone. While these are common challenges across Europe and don’t take away from the positive experience, addressing them would definitely enhance guest comfort and value for money.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While parking is available at an additional cost, it's well-located and convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and offered both sweet and savory options, which kept everyone happy. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. With great value and a comfortable setting, we’d definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

What makes it special is the warm, welcoming atmosphere; you instantly feel at home among travelers from all over the world. It’s lively yet cozy, with a real sense of community. I struck up conversations with guests from different countries and even met families who were staying here—they all raved about the experience too. The dorm rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained for a hostel, and the beds are surprisingly restful. Some noise is expected in a shared space, but nothing that disrupts sleep. Breakfast is excellent—fresh bread, fruit, local pastries, and juice options. Dinner offers good variety, though the sauces were slightly on the salty side, which is minor. There’s a great games area with billiards and board games, plus a bar serving perfectly balanced cocktails—no over-sweetness or harsh alcohol burn. Families love it here, and so do solo travelers. It feels like a true international family. If you’re looking for an authentic, friendly, and affordable stay in Stuttgart, this is the place.

If there’s a better hotel in Stuttgart, I’d love to see it—this place truly stands out. Located just a 10-minute walk from the Stuttgart Arena across the Neckar River and only 10 minutes by tram into the city center, it’s perfectly positioned for both convenience and charm. The area around the hotel is packed with great restaurants and cafes—especially worth mentioning Cannsatter Kurve, a local favorite run by a fantastic Bosnian owner that captures the spirit of the Stuttgart FC ultras’ neighborhood. And don’t miss the beer garden at the nearby Pig Museum—it’s real, and the draft beer and menu are excellent. But what really makes this stay unforgettable is the warm, family-run hospitality. The staff, including owner Vanessa and her parents, go above and beyond with genuine kindness and professionalism. Our room was quiet, located at the back with a lovely balcony, air conditioning that worked flawlessly, and a spacious bathroom with a shower and fridge. The mini-bar is reasonably priced if you want to grab something quick. There’s also a lift, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was outstanding—plenty of hot and cold options, and they even accommodated our gluten-intolerant guest every morning with fresh gluten-free bread, cereal, and milk. Plus, Vanessa helped us buy three-day public transit passes, making getting around stress-free and safe. And right outside? The red tourist bus stops just around the corner. This isn’t just a good hotel—it’s exceptional. I can’t recommend it enough.
