Staying at Homeinn Hotel (Harbin Exhibition Center Hengshan Road Wanda Plaza) was a great experience overall. The room is a simple business-style layout with a comfortable queen-sized bed and a clean bathroom—minimalist but very tidy and well-maintained. Prices are understandably higher during peak season, but the value still holds up. The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from Shengyi Hospital Station on Line 2, making public transit access convenient for exploring the city. There’s a wide variety of BBQ restaurants nearby, plus the Wanda Plaza right across the street—perfect for shopping or grabbing a bite. Across from the hotel is a small park where we rented a $10 inflatable sled; it was so much fun sliding around in winter, especially for the kids who were absolutely thrilled. It even made for some really photogenic moments! The only downside is that the heating system can’t be adjusted—so I ended up feeling too warm at night. Turning on the AC helps, but there’s a slight mechanical noise from the unit. A minor issue, but something worth considering for future upgrades. All in all, this is a highly recommended choice if you’re looking for convenience, good location, and family-friendly fun without needing to go far.

I also appreciated how close the hotel is to Harbin Institute of Technology Hospital; getting medical care was simple and only a quick walk away. The staff truly stood out—their warm smiles, friendly greetings, and prompt assistance made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They went above and beyond to help whenever needed. This place offers great value for money and has become my top choice when visiting Harbin.

This homestay is an absolute gem! The room is spacious and well-maintained, with excellent cleanliness—no lingering smoke smell at all, which is a big plus, especially in winter. Right downstairs is a lively shopping mall and street food alley, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city or heading to the airport. I’d recommend getting off at Harbin University of Science and Technology if you’re taking the airport bus, then just take one stop on the subway—dragging luggage through the cold weather is no fun. There are four elevators, but only one doesn’t require a card, so we had to wait a bit at first. Once we got the access card, things ran smoothly. The quietness at night was impressive—no noise from neighbors or traffic, perfect for a restful sleep. And that huge window by the bed? Absolutely dreamy. If it snows, the view from there would be magical. Definitely worth staying here again.

We visited the Xianrenju Scenic Area during our October holiday with our kids, and stayed at a charming guesthouse near the North Gate—Xianmeng Lanting. They even shared detailed tips on how to best explore Xianrenju, saving us time and helping us plan our day perfectly. The guesthouse itself is beautifully designed with a luxurious yet cozy atmosphere. Our family room comfortably accommodated two adults and three kids, and the modern smart amenities—including a projector—were a hit with the little ones. We couldn’t get enough of it! The building has an elevator, full smart automation, and the basement features a karaoke room, billiards table, and board games like chess and Go—perfect for family fun. Breakfast was outstanding—rich, flavorful, and made fresh by the hostess herself. In the morning, the owner even drove us personally to the South Gate of the scenic area, which showed just how thoughtful and dedicated they are. Every detail was considered, and the entire stay exceeded our expectations. Truly a five-star experience from start to finish!

I've visited Harbin many times, but this stay at Xinling Homestay (Harbin West Railway Station) was truly a pleasant surprise. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station, and everything else in the city is super accessible via metro. I made it to the morning market, explored the 731 Memorial Site, and enjoyed some amazing local food—all within a convenient radius. The room itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It had all the essentials: a fridge, washing machine, even a mahjong table for fun evenings. The large-screen TV delivered crisp, clear movie nights. Everything about the stay felt well-planned and comfortable. With such great value and convenience, I’ll definitely be extending my next visit and staying longer. Highly recommend!
