Staying at Residence Inn Munich Central was an absolute highlight of my trip! The facilities are well-maintained and thoughtfully designed—similar to the comfort and vibe of some Chinese mid-range chains I’ve stayed in, but with a more European touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. Cleanliness was excellent throughout—the room felt fresh and spotless. Location-wise, it’s just steps away from a U-Bahn station, and within one stop you’re at the main train station, which made exploring Munich super convenient. I especially loved that there’s a local bakery right across the street—German bread is legendary, and I was blown away by how delicious and aromatic their pastries were. Definitely worth stopping by. Staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. The breakfast spread was fantastic too—fresh, varied, and tasty. Overall, this hotel offered great value and a welcoming atmosphere. The exterior view and surrounding area are charming, making it a perfect base for discovering the city.

My stay at Bavaria Boutique Hotel in Munich was overall very positive. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, well-prepared, and offered a nice variety of local and international options. That said, I’d recommend avoiding rooms facing the street. Opening the windows brings in noticeable traffic noise, which can be disruptive, especially during quieter hours. If you keep the windows closed, the room can feel stuffy. For a more peaceful experience, opt for an interior-facing room. Despite that small caveat, the location is excellent—just a short walk to public transit, making it easy to explore downtown Munich. The ambiance is cozy, and the value for money is strong. I’d definitely consider returning on my next visit to the city.

That said, if your booking doesn’t include breakfast, be sure to bring some snacks or plan ahead. There aren’t many dining options nearby, especially on weekends when many places are closed. Without a little preparation, you might find yourself hungry. Overall, though, this is a great value for money choice in central Munich—perfect for travelers who prioritize location, comfort, and a quiet, welcoming vibe.

It’s just 3 stops on the subway to the main train station and only 5 stops to the old town. Getting around Munich has never been easier. Whether you're arriving from the airport or planning a day out exploring the city, this location makes everything so seamless. The hotel is well-connected, comfortable, and offers great value for money—definitely a top pick if you’re visiting Munich.

One minor note: the annex building doesn’t have an elevator, and since I was on the second floor near the breakfast area, light sleepers might be disturbed by early morning noises. That said, the hotel’s unique atmosphere, attention to design, and excellent service more than make up for it. A truly memorable stay with great value.
