Staying at New World Dalian Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed—with a standalone bathtub that made for a relaxing soak after a long day. All the bathroom amenities were from Marlin Doggo, which added a nice touch with their fresh scent and high-quality feel. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly—especially one blonde girl with a side-swept fringe who had such a cheerful attitude, and another with dark hair and big eyes who was just as warm and helpful. The housekeeping staff in room 1811 stood out too—she greeted me every time I left the room, kept everything spotless, and even offered genuine recommendations on fun spots around Dalian. After breakfast, walking back into a perfectly tidy room felt like a small daily treat. The breakfast spread was fantastic—huge variety, with both Western and local options covered. The view from the room was stunning, overlooking the bustling city lights and catching glimpses of the sea in the distance. Plus, the hotel’s location is unbeatable—right next to a high-end shopping mall and super accessible for public transit. If I ever come back to Dalian, this will be my first choice without hesitation. A truly memorable stay.

The children’s themed room was a hit—colorful, playful, and packed with fun details that instantly delighted our little ones. From themed toiletries to small toys, every touch showed genuine thoughtfulness. Our kids were entertained for hours, thanks to the excellent in-house play areas—perfect for burning off energy without any stress. As adults, we also appreciated the beautifully maintained indoor pool with clear, warm water—ideal for relaxing after a long day. The service truly stood out too: special thanks to Yina for her warm, attentive hospitality, always ready to help; and the housekeeping staff who kept the room spotless and welcoming. The location is fantastic—close to the waterfront but still convenient for city exploration. Staying at Furama Hotel Dalian was an absolute highlight of my trip to Dalian. As the first five-star hotel in Northeast China, it’s impressive how well-preserved and vibrant this property remains after all these years. The room was spotless, with crisp, comfortable bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The ground-floor mall is well-stocked with a wide variety of goods—perfect for picking up souvenirs or everyday essentials. The pool water temperature was just right, and the hot tub was a real treat for unwinding after a long day. I especially want to commend the front desk staff, Xu Qingsong from the pool and sauna area, and swimming instructor Bao Xin—their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail truly stood out. They went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. From the ambiance to the service, every aspect felt premium. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dalian.

Staying at the InterContinental Dalian was an absolutely delightful experience. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Dalian Station, making it incredibly convenient for both arrivals and departures. The room itself was spotless and thoughtfully designed. The hairdryer was powerful with minimal noise and dried my hair in no time—perfect for early mornings or last-minute touch-ups. The air conditioning was whisper-quiet, which was a game-changer for me as someone who struggles with sleep due to noise sensitivity. I also loved the robot delivery service—it added a fun, futuristic touch to the stay and made getting snacks or essentials super easy. The only minor drawbacks were the slightly awkward bathroom latch and the sink faucet, which took a bit of fiddling to get the right temperature. But honestly, these were just small details in an otherwise outstanding stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Overall, the comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality made this hotel stand out. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to return.

This stay exceeded all my expectations! I have to give a special shoutout to the front desk staff, Sally and Xiao Miao—check-in was quick and seamless, and their friendly service made me feel right at home. They even recommended some fantastic local eateries nearby and gave clear walking directions, which was incredibly helpful. The room might be a bit dated, but it’s super comfortable and well-maintained. Plus, the four brand-new elevators (by Mitsubishi!) run smoothly and give you peace of mind. Location-wise, it’s perfect—just steps from the metro and bus stops, making getting around town a breeze. For the comfort, convenience, and value, this hotel is a standout. I’ll definitely be coming back to Dalian and choosing this one again.

What really stood out? When I mentioned the air felt a bit dry, she proactively added a humidifier to the room. Then, just before leaving, she asked again if the humidity level was comfortable—such thoughtful attention to detail. The hotel itself is spotless, with well-maintained facilities and a serene atmosphere. Every corner feels cared for, from the spacious rooms to the elegant common areas. Yes, the facilities aren’t as modern as brand-new properties, but the personal touch and consistent hospitality truly stand out. It’s clear they prioritize guest experience over flashy upgrades. We arrived in Dalian early in the morning after a ferry ride from Weihai with our young child, landing at 5:00 AM. Since our little one needed an early check-in and most hotels required midday check-in, we were struggling to find a place until we reached out through the platform. The hotel was incredibly accommodating—after confirming availability, they arranged for housekeeping to prepare the room as soon as possible and even called us around 7:30 AM to let us know we could check in right away. The staff’s flexibility made our arrival so much smoother. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a beautiful view of the hills from the window—perfect for relaxing after a long journey. The location is fantastic: close to public transit, restaurants, and attractions. We easily explored the city within hours of arriving. Everything was convenient, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back—this is one of the best stays we’ve had in Dalian.

Staying at EK Inn Hotel was an absolute delight! My room was upgraded for free—smaller than expected but very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The staff went above and beyond: when my friend got scratched by a cat, they immediately provided iodine swabs, band-aids, and alcohol wipes—so thoughtful! Housekeeping came by every day without fail, keeping everything tidy and fresh. Location-wise, it's just 30 meters from Gangwan Square exit D—super convenient. Right downstairs are restaurants like Zhenghuangqi BBQ, a new foot spa, and plenty of other dining options nearby. A short walk takes you to McDonald’s and the beautiful waterfront area. Dalian itself is such a lovely city, and staying here made exploring effortless. Great value, excellent service, and a really comfortable stay overall—I’ll definitely be back.

XiHe Hotel (Dalian Railway Station Zhongshan Plaza Store)

Staying at XiHe Hotel was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean, warmly decorated, and had excellent heating—perfect for the cooler weather. Located just steps away from Sanba Plaza, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around downtown Dalian, with easy access to the Zhongshan Plaza Metro Station. Everywhere I wanted to go was just a short walk or quick metro ride away. The hotel itself is spacious and easy to find—the front entrance is very visible and welcoming. Everything you’d expect in a modern hotel is here: comfortable beds, well-maintained bathrooms, and thoughtful amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. And having a Biaoyou Supermarket right across the street made grocery shopping a breeze. With great value, top-notch cleanliness, and excellent location, this place truly delivers. I’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely come back on my next trip to Dalian.
